My dentist told me that people that don't like to floss have had good results with the Water-piks. You can get them at Walmart, Target, Fred Meyer's. I like to actually rinse my mouth with peroxide as I used to get a lot of canker sores, and I noticed that my gums looked better after a couple of weeks. It also helps whiten teeth. I then Use Plaques to help loosen plaque off of my teeth.

Both work fine but I prefer listerine.
I'll tell you like I told my kids years ago. Only brush and floss the teeth you want to keep.

I always hated flossing too (but it beats the alternative.. dentures) and I started buying the dental picks. They are so much easier to use and I never have to fuss at the kids to floss now.
They are a more expensive then regular dental floss but it's cheaper then a dentists bill and an extra $3-$4 a month isn't bad for beautiful teeth. You'll probably notice an improvement in your gum disease within a week of regular brushing and flossing.
Good luck

.What is it you don't like about flossing? Some people don,t like to use it because the contact points between their teeth are too tight. But you could use some of the suggestions of other answerer's on here even a tooth pick to dislodge plaque and food debris is good.

I have used both mouthwashes and for gum infections I would highly recommend Corsodyl

If you don't like to floss, then what do you expect? That a mouthwash will magically do it for you? Not at all.
Go to a dentist or hygienist and let them show you how to get your teeth back into order, and how to keep them that way. Using a mouthwash as a substitute for proper cleaning is like just washing your car with a hose without using a sponge and elbow grease. At least you can buy another car.
