I was in a very severe car accident when I was 15. I was thrown from the car going a good amount of speed.
My doctors never found any injuries to my back, neck, or shoulders (aside from torn R rotator cuff), but I have had severe back/neck/shoulder pain since my accident.
I have been on pain meds. (Norco 10-325- 2 pills 3 times a day, and 600MG of Neurontin 3 times a day) since then.
It does treat the pain, but obviously doesn't get rid of it.
I go to a Chiropractor, which helps, but also isn't a permanant solution.
I have had physical therapy, but it never helped.
I am sick of having to rely on pills to make me able to get through a day, and my doctor wants to soon start to slowly decrease the amounts, until I have completely stopped taking them.
I am fine with not taking any meds., but the problem is: the pain is still going to be there, and I can't bear it without some type of treatment.
What other options, aside from these above, are there?
That are more long-term?
