I had the Novasure and a tubal ligation on 12/7/2007, and I started experiencing horrible pain and cramps in my upper abdomin and lower abdomin after about 10 days. My GYN called to check on me about 12 days after and said it was normal and probably would not stop until after I had my cycle. Well, today is about 15 days and I was in so much much pain last night and this morning that I was dizzy, had nausea, and diarhea. I had to sleep until about 12:00 p.m. and then I have napped off and on all day due to the pain. Is this normal? I have spotted off on on for 15 days. My husband is concerned due to the fact that I had to sleep all day (this is worse than my menstrual cramps which are usually horrible). Tylenol does not help (I took 1500 mg about 2 hours ago-2500 for the day). I can't take motrin (on coumadin). I am going to take the Roxicet I was given to sleep tonight. Should I wait, go the emergency room or page my doctor?

I know it shouldn't matter, but it is so Christmas and I don't want to page him. Also, I am afraid the military hospital will want to admit me and I don't want to go back.

I had a tubal 10 years ago and never had any symptoms you are describing.
i think I would go ahead and go to the ER. Your doctor brushed it off before already. I wold forget paging him and go on in.

YES go to the emergency room. these are signs of internal issues! i'm not a doctor...but pretty darn close. you sleeping longer (weakness) and the diarrhea/nausea history indicates that your body is compensating for blood loss, basically shock! the pain may be normal, but not the continuous spotting.
and incidently WHO said u cant take motrin while on coumodin??????? AND MORE IMPORTANTLY WHO THE F GAVE U COUMODIN AFTER A SURGICAL PROCEDURE???? it makes u bleeed!!!

tylenol at that dosage is severely liver toxic!! 1500mg daily for a health liver is MAX MAX dose. they don't tell u but tylenol is such a bad choice!!!
please go to the er at your earliest convenience. i dont think you will die if you dont go within the next 48 hours, but you will get worse. and before the 48 hours you might pass out due to blood loss.

Regardless of your feelings about the hospital, you need to to go back to the ER. What you are experiencing is not normal. Do you have a fever? Go now, have someone take you! This is very important. You MUST go!

I realize that you are concerned about it being the holiday coming up but with the symptoms you are dealing with right now please page your doctor to let them know what's going on.
