My girlfriend is having really bad pain in her vagina. A week ago or two I was fingering her and it slipped and went in weird and hurt her and we haven't really done anything since then other than a little bit of fingering because it has been hurting her. Now it is almost unbearable for her. It hurts really badly and she says it feels irritated and burns and it kinda itches but not really. We haven't had sex in a long time so I don't think its an STD (can you get an STD from fingering?). Is it just that its irritated from to much use (we played with it a lot more than we usually did)? So, if you know what is possibly causing this and if she should try to see a doctor or not please tell and if you know of anything to deal with the pain that would be valuable information also.

alo she says that it hurts all day but at certain times like the past 2 nights it is extremely painful the rest of the day it just hurts... could it just be a phase and will heal itself or is it for sure something worse?

www.plannedparenthood.com. Find one in your area. She can be examined without her parents knowing.

I don't know how a tiny little finger could do so much damage, unless you scraped her with your fingernail and passed along an infection.

Future reference: wash your hands before you fool around.

Maybe she isn't lubricated enough. Friction in that area with no lubrication is realllllllly painful. To be so sore though from fingering sounds a little suspicious. It wouldn't hurt to have her stop by and have a visit with her doctor.

This could be a symptom of an infection. She should see her doctor about this. She should let her mom know that she's having some pain in her vaginal area and would like to see her doctor because she's concerned that she might have an infection.

She could have an infection. If your fingernails were dirty and they cut her. That sounds really bad, and she needs to go to the doctor before it gets worse. If it's unbearable, it sounds like it may have advanced from an infection to PID. Definitely try to get her to go to the doctor.
