so i had braces for 3.5 years, and i took em off 3 months ago. i have the retainers, breakable. im supposed to wear them day and night for 1 year straight, but i only where it at night.
IM NOTICING AN OVERBITE on THE TOP JAW. and its really visible. mostly the 2 front teeth.
if i wear my retainers during the day too, will it move my teeth back to its shape when i just took off my braces? like no overbite at all .

braces and retainers will only work if you do as your orthodontist tells you to.. If you have to wear them day and night but only wear them in the daytime your teeth will go back to the position they were in..
you need to go back to the orthodontist to see if the retainer is still the correct shape............

You need to talk to your dentist about the fact that you haven't been wearing your retainers during the day and see what he says about it. Start wearing them like you are supposed to.
