Just came back from the doctor and they told her she has very LOW cholesterol and thats not a good thing...

i have a heacka stuffy nose and i hate when i sleep i can't breath threw my mouth or it will dry so dry. Also eventually my one nostrel i can breath out of starts to hurt. How can i get rid of my stuffy nose at night !!!!!!????

i have a huge audition for dance on sunday the 9th and im 13 years old. i got my first period on july 9th, and every month it has come on either the 9th or 8th. the first two times i got pretty bad cramps, but the last times i barely felt anything. im scared it will come on the 9th this month for the audition, and have bad cramps. :( any advice? (when i had bad cramps before, i took many different types of medicine but they didnt really work)

For about a year and a half I have had random chest pains. I have talked to my doctor about it multiple times and I even went to the emergency room and got an EKG. They didn't find anything wrong with me. It might me stress related.

This pain occurs on MY left side. Yesterday was scary, I had to sharp pain occur occur for about 2 seconds. It felt like someone was stabbing me. After that I felt really warm and body felt numb.

I am not obease. I am 6'0, 140 pounds.

I fractured my tibia (the side of my shin). I was going to get a cast but the doctor said the cast really weakens your muscles so it's better to wear this type of removable cast boot. He said to wear it all the time, except for when taking showers and changing, and that is what I've been doing. I took it off a few times yesterday and I noticed that my ankle is swollen. When i press on it and move it, my ankle doesn't hurt. There is no discoloration or anything, it's just swollen. Does anybody have any idea why this is? Is there any way to bring the swelling down?

I'm definately not pregnant but the nausea is rediculously similar to pregnancy sickness. I usually start to feel bad as soon as I wake up, if not around noon.

It's only gotten real bad 4 times within the past 2 months. Threw up once after waking up from an evening nap. (Had real bad heartburn and yellow bile is what came out) And once was just spit up but pure vomit, no acidic bile.

The other two times it got real bad it literally took all physical & emotional strength NOT to puke. I was in a grocery store and couldn't bare the embarrassment.

The nausea fades though. Usually within 30 minutes.

I feel slightly better with pepto intake and alka-seltzer. But sometimes that only helps for a few minutes or takes the edge off.

Anyone like this or heard of some kind of conidition.

I'm 20! Web-MD gave a couple "possible conitions" but they all seem way out there!

Does this sound serious?

I was wondering if anyone on here has suffered from a deteriorating disk in thier back and what is done to fix this problem because Its really painful and I just want to play basketball but now it sounds like I'm out for a while and I'm really depressed. If anyone could help that would be great.

So me and my cousin in whom i live with were diagnosed with scabies about a month ago. We treated twice and were getting resualts. Then the other day my dad said that he wanted to treat b/c he was itching to. We told him to treat before buthe said that he didnt have them. I dont to treat again b/c i for one have really sensitive skin && for two am scared b/c the cream that you use to get rid of scabies has fermaldihide and different pestisides. should i retreat?????

I havn't had my period in about 4 months now, I'm not pergnant, why am I not having my period? I don't want to go to hospita, doctor or anything, 5 months ago, I use to have a problem & heavily bleed, through my clothes & whatnot, they put me on birthcontroll pills, but it made me depressed so I took myself of them aslong with it wasn't even fixing anything anyways, anyways 4 months ago, I havn't gotten my period since that...why is this?

I have a friend who thinks that he can stick like 20 patches on himself, and leave them on for longer than the recommended time. I myself think that this is just a cry for help and that these patches are a non-lethal way of attempting suicide. He told me "At my weight 20 patches will do the trick". He weighs roughly about 300 pounds. If someone has the medical expertise to tell me if this is possible that would be great. He has been threatening for a while now and I need to know how soon I need to act. I think he is collecting them

I had a helix piercing about two months ago or so that unfortunatly got infected. I took the thing out to let it heal and now the hole is closed. I liked the way it looked and would like to get it redone but i was told by a friend that it takes quite a while for the infection to completely go away. Is this true and should i wait a while longer or would all the damage be healed by now?
Also if it makes a difference i was on anti-biotics for a few days by doctors orders. He told me i could put the piercing back in after a couple days but i left it out anyways.

My cholesterol has gone up recently and I'm trying to lower it. The problem is that I'm already skinny. I want to lower my cholesterol without getting skinnier. What should I do? I also have a very fast metabolism. Would that affect what kind of effect a diet would have on me? I'm a 14-year-old girl, so I'm probably gonna need a specific kind of diet plan for my age and gender.

im not sure what and enlarged lymph node is i never had one. Howver i am 23yrs old male no history of cancer in family very healthy. a little over a year i went to the doctor and he discovered i had a slightly enlarged spleen so he sent me to the heamatoglist. I went to him to get a blood work and what not. Everything came back normal and he suspected that i might have epstein barr. I been so stressed out and neverous throughtout the year now as nothing has been wrong with me its all in my head. I was sitting down the other day and my groin felt a little bumpy. im talkin in the upper inner thigh. it feels bumpy small little tiny bumps on both sides. It feels inflated. but there is not big bumps. Do u think if this was lymphoma they would of found it last year in my blood. last blood work was done at the heamotogilst in feb. I havent been sick at all, no other seomthings of flu or sickness. I just feel irration in the inner groin. im so nervous thinking i have cancer.Please Help

I sweat terribly, and my one that I have now isn't doing the trick. It reduces it a great bit, but it still looks like I've been doing stadiums all day when I get home.

Ladies, I need your help. Any similar situations, and what kind do you use to stop it?

As a note, I hate gels, sprays, and powders. I really, really prefer solid. But if a gel, spray, or powder is the only way to go, so be it. I use plain ol' Spring Breeze Solid Secret right now.
