I finished my period like 12 days ago but all of a sudden today at lunch i found blood on my underwear just like bright red, and its been on and off tonight. im 15 years old if that helps? what does this mean?

If starting out with having your period for the first time some spotting can occur because the body is trying to adjust to the changes going on inside of it.
I would recommend letting your mom know what's going on so that she can help you keep an eye on this.

Spotting *can* be normal, but if you have been menstruating for some time - say over a year - and have been regular thus far, this might be something that needs to be checked.
Any chance at all that you might be pregnant? Spotting *can* occur when the fertilized egg implants itself in the uterus.
If in doubt - check it out.

spotting can be normal. for a few days after my period ends i'll be spotty if i drink too much caffiene. if it continues i'd say go to the doctor but you shouldn't be really worried

yes! spotting is definitely normal and happens to me all the time. it's very inconvienient but just wear a panty liner until you are postive it's over.
