I'm serious I have a 15 year old son, I want to know should he wear it up, to the side or down, is there any medical reasons it should be worn a particular way or does it matter. He is just starting puberty, other then having difficulty hitting the toilet first thing in the morning as it is hard tthere is no problems....I just wouldn't want him to have any medical problems (blood flow or erection problems) or embarrassments later in life because he wears it up. Serious replys only please.

For women aged 18-24, systolic bp (in mmHg) are normally distributed with a mean of 114.8 and a standard deviation of 13.1. Hypertension is commonly defined as systolic blood pressure above 140.

If 10 women aged 18-24 are randomly selected, what is the probability their mean systolic blood pressure is greater than 140?

My daughters teeth look great. We brush often. Lately it appears there is more plaque build up. Unfortunately she has had more sugar in the past couple months. The grey spot behind her tooth appeared like a shadow of the natural indentation of her tooth. But now the grey area has spread. Her teeth look pearly white otherwise, I would not have noticed this discoloration unless she tilted her head back. Her other teeth look fine.

One of my girlfriend's best friends was found murdered in her home last week in Charlottesville, Virginia. The woman's name was Jayne McGowan.

I did not know her personally, but I have been trying to be as supportive as possible. I just don't understand how anybody will be able to move on until this person is found. The murder itself really makes no sense.

Beyond that is that I don't understand how bad a person's situation must be that they can kill someone without coming forward after. How can a person exist without guilt or shame overpowering their own panic or wish for escape?

I study social work. I am a therapist. I am trained in understanding oppression and mental illness. And yet when something so terrible happens so close to me, I cannot make sense of it.

Finally, in the unlikely event that this message ever finds someone who knows something about this, I beg you to come forward with that information. The need for closure is tremendous, for hundreds who knew her.

i have been wearing my hard contacts for two years and every few days i get little "contact attacks". when my eye hurts theres a red spot. tears start coming out of my eyes and my friends say "are you ok? are you having another contact attack?"
im thinking that its because dust gets in my eye or something.
QUestions:
1. why do hard contacts hurt for me
2. does it hurt for you occasionallly (if you have them)
3. what can i do when this happens
4. how to prevent

Ok, all today I have been having this pain in my stomach and at first I thought it was hunger. The only problem is however much I ate, the pain was still there. I had Reeses Puffs cereal for breakfast, a subway type sandwich for lunch with chips, cheese and peanutbutter crackers, and later, a burito and an apple, oh and two PBJ sandwiches and a few glasses of milk.
If it says anything, I also have been taking an antibiotic since I got my wisdomteeth taken out last thursday. (though it somehow helps my complexion)

Does anyone know the reason and/or how to fix it short of taking any pain medicines?

I have these soft purple bumps on the inside of my thigh. They are a little less than a half inch in diameter. When they first appear, they look like they have a white center or a head. When I try to pop it, nothing comes out. The center is now black. They end up going away. I also get them on the sides of my torso. They are definitely not zits. Also, they can not be an STD because I am not sexually active.

I get strep throat pretty often, but I don't remember my throat ever hurting this bad. It hurts to drink water. I can't eat anything because it hurts to bad. Would this be strep throat or something else? Also, my mom had strep throat a few days ago/last week, so that's why I think it is strep throat, I don't have any $$$ to go to the doctor, so I am taking the medicine she has left over, but will this help? Or do I have to the doc anyways...like I said...I don't have the money to go for them to say "yep...you have strep throat..." and give me a prescription (which I also wouldnt be able to afford). So should I just keep taking the meds they gave her, or what? Thanks in advance!

Also, I am 19, so my mom won't pay for it...I take care of everything I get..
