I am curently in the process of associates for general studies to transfer to a state but the one im going to (near by) does not have dental assisting programs etc. But there is a community college here that does. Should I stop and transfer to do dental or finish my associates in general studies?

BONNIE,
AN EDUCATION CAN BE A USEFUL THING THAT NOBODY CAN TAKE AWAY FROM YOU.
HOWEVER, YOU CAN ALSO WASTE ALOT OF TIME IN "FINDING YOURSELF." IF YOU REALLY WANT TO BECOME A C.D.A. THEN INVESTIGATE ON WHAT YOU NEED TO BECOME ONE. I'M SURE ALL THE STUDIES YOU'VE DONE SO FAR HAVE NOT BEEN WASTED.

finish your associates first, then transfer. The reason I'd recommend this is that other colleges sometimes do not take all of your transfered credits. If you transfer with a degree, they are forced to accept it. Good luck!
