....and I saw what appears to be 2 small cuts near 2 different teeth. It's not extremely red but its painful and was wondering what this could be and how to cure it. I have no dental insurance and really can't afford to go to one. Any help would be appreciated thanks!

It seems,you have injured your gum while brushing,biting or chewing some hard food ,i.e. Apple or lobster shell,etc. If it really hurts you can apply some Benzocaine gel (Trade name--BENZONAC GEL) over it. You should do warm saline rinsing of the mouth. it should come down automatically within two days. You can ask me for any free advice on email.Take care.

Its because you have sensative gums. I know this might sound silly, but use kids bubble gum act. ITS AMAZING. I use to have really sore gums, until i used this product. Make sure you floss at least once a day and not too much brushing. limit it twice a day.

Have your wisdom teeth come out yet? That's what happens when your wisdom teeth starts growing. The gums crack a bit and then you can start to see the enamel underneath it.
