ok...if you have already gotten staph infection, are you immune to it? i heard it is really deadly and there arent any cures for it. it is going around on the east coast...and thats where my bf is. someone in school already died from it i think. can it come back once you have already had it?

I know a patient prescribed with Lithium has regular blood tests to monitor Lithium levels. If a test is done before any Lithium is taken will that act as confirmation of a diagnosis?

Hey i'm 13 and i am not dry at night. This morning i woke up late and of course my goodnite was soaked with pee. I took off my Pj's and started walking toward my diaper pail, which is in my bathroom. I walked through the living room and my parents had several friends over, drinking coffe on the couch! they all saw me standing in a soaked pullup. I ran away, not talking to them. My boy has a cold. The doctor listened to his chest and says it's not bronchial so it's nothing serious...but he can't go 5 mins without coughing. What can I give him to help soothe his throat and chest. His little tummy must be hurting by now. when you sleep and want to get up you feel you should not get up.you have this numbness all over your body.when you bow and want to get up you feel as if you are going to black out.sometime you feel drain of energy or strenght.infact the major sign of weakness is tiredness.some time the pain is more pronounce in the chest region,it stays like that for long period of about twenty four to thirty nine hours or two days.

If price was not an issue....would you pay to have an air purifier that completely cleans the air in your home? Can it get rid of your allergies...pollen...dust...even dust mites? Do you have to change the filter all the time or rinse it off once a month? Are you constantly replacing parts or the only time you have to replace anything is if you break it? If you burn popcorn in the microwave...does the smell linger for days with your purifier or is the smell gone in an hour or so?

OK. my husband has a small bump just below the anus. slightly off to the left. you can't see anything, but you can feel it. it's slightly hard. it's blue around the area, so I don't know if the blue is a bruise or if it's a vein. I know that colon cancer is up inside the anus and so is rectum. I think... but I dunno if it's a polyp or a cyst or what. but if you could answer please do so.

Also please do not make any rude remarks. This is a very important situation for me.

I'm 18 years old, and have been having chest pains for the past three years. It's not in one particular place, I have it mostly on the left side, and the middle, and sometimes radiates to the right side. Everytime I go to the doctor they say everythings fine which includes: the heart, lungs, breathing, etc. I always have trouble breathing when the chest pain occurs. The pain has gradually gotten worse, both in the amount of occurences, and the intensity on a scale of 1 to 10 ten being the most severe I would rate the pain as an 8 or 9. When I was around 13 or 14 years old a speacialst had sent me to a pediatric cardiologist to see if I could take some medicine. While there I had an EKG done, and the results said that one side of the heart is slower than the other and I think that's my right side, and that a normal heartbeat beats in the following order chamber 1, 2, 3, and 4. Finally, in August of last year when I was 17 years old I had experienced all the signs of a heart attack.

Just a couple months, I noticed that sometimes i can see lil thing floating around in my vision. It's very tiny looks like lint but it's not. I'm on the computer a lot so I don't know if thats the reason why my eyes are getting messed up. Not too long ago i've seen an optometrist for my an eye exam but she didn't mentioned anything about my eyes. Only prescribed me glasses . So if I have eye cancer, the optometrist would be able to tell me right? I only see this lil thing in my vision when I'm looking at something bright such as computer screen on a white background or in the sunlight. Is this age-related? I am only 23 and am a female.

I have a 10 year old son, who I was just told is bipolar by a psychiatrist. I am taking him for a second opinion as soon as I can find a another doctor..I started reading about pediatric bipolar and so far all I read is how aggressive they can be..my son isnt aggressive..he has panic attacks, anxiety and has mood swings, mostly depression. any out there know anything?
