Does caffiene clarify your thoughts or does it mix them up?

At times I get a caffiene buzz and nothing makes much sense, but at other times it seems to calm and clarify my thoughts. How does caffiene make you feel?

For me it depends on the dose. The caffeine from one can of soda and I'm alert and focused. Anymore and I'm all over the place doing crazy things.
