Can anyone explain what, if anything this means? it was 2.16 . Everything ive looked up is about high cholesterol,
so any info would be great

Are you sure that wasn't your ratio of LDL/HDL? I've never heard of a total cholesterol level that low. A healthy ratio is less than 2.2, so if that's the case, then your number is fine.

That is excellent. Most people are between 4 and 8. The rule of thumb is that you should be below 5.2 and the lower the better.

Perhaps you are a vegetarian. Even if you don't actually consume any cholesterol (animal fats, dairy products, etc) your body still makes its own cholesterol so you will never actually be deficient in cholesterol.

I have been 3 for years and this was considered low so with your level you should have normal blood pressure and a healthy heart. These days 5 is considered high although 10 years ago the level of 6 was the high starting point. Feel great and never start smoking or eating junk food and you will live for ever.

There are several cholesterol levels
Total, LDL, HDL, Triglycerides

Its not always what you eat... It is your own body that produces cholesterol and not always because of what you eat... Your body might produce less than average which is fine It is purely down to your own metabolism... Less bad cholesterol means less clogging of arteries which can only be good....

It means your in great shape on the inside and not at any risk of stroke or M.I
