Men have breast tissue and so can get breast cancer; they account for fewer than 1% of breast cancer cases though. In the UK about 290 men are diagnosed each year, compared to almost 41,000 women.
The signs and symptoms to watch out for are exactly the same as for women and only 5 – 10% of all breast cancer cases are due to hereditary factors.
In fact overweight is a breast cancer risk factor, in men as well as women; but women and men of all shapes and sizes get it.

Yes, anyone can get cancer, my brother had breast cancer three years ago. They did a masectomy and now he is cancer free. I was shocked when I found out my brother had breast cancer we just dont think or hear that much about men getting it. It does run in my family. My mothers mom had breast cancer, two of my dads sisters had it. Godbless, DonnaG

Men do get breast cancer. They do not have to be fat or have large breasts.
Here is a link to what the Mayo clinc has to say on it.

Anyone can get breast cancer- men or women- skinny or fat. It doesn't matter who you are. Your chances raise with family heredity. One also doesn't have to have voluptuous breasts to get breast cancer.
