Epilepsy is abnormal brain activity from a variety of different causes that are not well understood. The causes seem to be related to connections in the brain itself - too many or too few connections, lesions that affect electrical impulses, or too little or too much blood flow to a particular area. It is conceivable that low blood pressure could change the threshold for seizures if a person's epilepsy was triggered by blood flow in the brain, but this is not characteristic of epilepsy.
