I went to school for massage therapy, but never went for the state board. I want to do some work on the side, cause i have my own table.. how much should i charge for a full body.. or just the back?

some ideas please.. THANKS!!

i go to a local Acupresure Therapst here and the charge is
$10.00 for a 10 minute refreash massage.
$15.00 for 12 minuutes
$30.00 for 30 minutes
$50.00 full body massage lasting 60 minutes

If the laws of the state within which you plan to practice requires state certification, you better take your test and also get insured in case you injure someone. You could really get yourself into a lot of trouble. I realize that having your license doesn't make you a better massage therapist, but it makes it legal for you to give massages.

I should add, you really shouldn't do a massage on "just the back". You should to do front and back to achieve balance, and not doing the legs, where many people have muscle tension that causes hip problems which could lead to back problems isn't ideal either.

Well navy girl for a full body about $70 and for the back $40. I work on a SPA in cabo san lucas mexico and the price that i´m giving you is fair. Think that you have to drive, buy oils, etc. so you do the math

I'm paying $40 for 1/2 hour.....so maybe charge $30

I would say anywhere from 50 to 100 bucks an hour. I could sure use one right about now, are you free tonight, lol..
