Just saw a program on TLC of a young boy who lost both he's eyes at age 3, he's now a 15-16 years old boy and he can play basketball, ride a bike, skateboard all that using echo location !!!!

By clicking his tongue and listening to the echo, he can "ear" objects around him and can make a mental image of it's surrounding, this is amazing !

ok, i've been having this pain for like a couple weeks. but now it's horriable, and unbearable. ok if i press my hand on my right side, it hurts like hell, and i don't have a appetite, i almost threw up yesterday, and my forehead is warm. i'm scared to tell my mom.

I used to do a lot of weights and could lift a lot... but I kind of cut down on that I still do them once in a while and I can still lift... but I was wondering if anyone knew any workout plans or anything just to keep me in shape and get me in better shape... I like to run... and do basically anything... so does anyone know any workout plans... or exercises I can do...?...

My grandfather who is 73 was diagnosed with Cancer of the pancreas 1 month ago.
He has several scans on the NHS (National Health Service) that didn't detect anything so he payed to go private he had a scan that showed a tumor that hadn't spread on his pancreas.
He had a biopsy but when he went for his results he was greeted by an embarased surgeon who said they'd lost them.
This was bad enough but after this happened he had not been told that the biopsy could infact spread the cancer.
He had not been given a proper consultation this hospital has been in total chaos for a long time my grandmother got MRSA in there and when I was born my mother had to sleep on a matress in the middle of a ward
this is called playing with life and death what do you think??

This afternoon I noticed red spots that kinda look like masquito bites but on the top he has a blister type thing on it the around it there is a round white looking area. I have not called a doctor because my insurance does not kick in until monday what do I do?

i recently was at a beach party and accidently stepped on some hot embers from a fire that had been put out earlier, they didnt look hot but believe me they were... i had my sandal on when i did.. but now the inside of my foot has large blisters and covers about 3 inches between my toes and my heel.. only one of the blisters is open but it is all red around them.. can i put peroxide on them to make sure they stay clean.???.

i poured a great deal of cold(not ice cold) water on them before but i now i soak it and put some burn cream and gauze over it before i go out anywhere... am i doing the right thing?

people have blue blood and the moment the blood and air meet it turns red so people never see there blue blood unless it is there vanes and you can see your vanes through your skin. But when you are dead, if you get a cut or something does your blood not change to red when it hits air? if you do not know the answer to this question, do you know someone who we may be able to ask?

i dont want to tan a lot.. just for homecoming and stuff. how likely is it for me to get skin cancer later in life? how long will it take me to get a tan in a bed. im medium skin tonedand tan fairly easily. im caucasion (sp?) and have brown hair.

When I flex, you can see my abs, but I want my abs to show without having to flex. I can do a set of 100, maybe 150. How many sets a day should I do? If not crunches is there a better ab exercise requiring no equipment like the air bicycle? I know I have to have little body fat. I'm skinny, 5'10", 120 pounds, and I run 2-3 miles every other day.

do anything? I ate a couple starburst last night..and damn..my tooth hurt..but it wasnt too bad and only lasted a minute or two. This has been going on for a while. It hurts on a tooth that already has a cap. I told my dentist about this..and he said that there was no real reason to worry unless it hurt for a longer period of time? is that right? and then i am more sensitive to cold water ONLY during the time that my tooth is already hurting from sweets. i dont eat any more super sweet stuff anymore.

It's going to be with local anesthesia, and I've told both my dad and my boyfriend, who would be my top choices for going with me, but none of them volunteered to go with me. I guess my dad assumed my boyfriend would go with me. Anyways, I'm wondering if any of you know about this kind of things... Do you come out of this operations unable to drive? Or is it just a commodity to be a passenger? I don't need to be 'spoiled' because of the pain I'll be in, or because my face will be swollen. If i can do it all on my own i will. Lately i've had so much bad luck and things are just going wrong all the time. im sick of it. last weekend i missed a wedding because my friend put the wrong fuel in his car so it broke down and by the time we got back on the road it was too late. my mum and dad have gone on holiday and im really missing them both, theres a girl at work called pam and we dont get on and she was real horrible today, im £12000 in debt and only earning £100 a week! theres also someone in my life that lies to me and treats me like im dumb and it upsets me. anyway please cheer me up.
