Just saw a program on TLC of a young boy who lost both he's eyes at age 3, he's now a 15-16 years old boy and he can play basketball, ride a bike, skateboard all that using echo location !!!!

By clicking his tongue and listening to the echo, he can "ear" objects around him and can make a mental image of it's surrounding, this is amazing !

I'm wondering, how long could it take to learn that ?

I think it will take much to learn , but for people who can't see it's the only option

In my profession I see this all the time. The blind develop very sensitive hearing.
