You get to pick one or the other, not both.

Get the spray on stuff. It only takes a few minutes. Much less than tanning beds.

Put on a low SPF (like 15) and go to the beach. The tanning bed is WAY more dangerous than the sun. Or do a spray.

Something many people don't know is that melanoma is NOT the most prevalent form of skin cancer, it's pretty rare...there's many kinds of skin cancers. Just be careful.

High doses of Vitamin C can protect your skin from burning from the sun. By high, we're talking 5 to 10 grams.

I don't know if it provides protection from tanning beds.

try not to tan yourself on purpose using tan beds or the sun. not only does it put you at higher risk for skin cancer (squamous cell carcinoma, melanoma, and basal cell carcinoma), but it will damage your skin (i.e. premature wrinkles, leathery skin, thinned skin and patchy areas of discoloration aka "age spots").

wear sun block and get a sunless tan instead. you'll thank yourself in 20 years.

Avoid the tanning beds or there may be no homecoming!
