My grandfather who is 73 was diagnosed with Cancer of the pancreas 1 month ago.
He has several scans on the NHS (National Health Service) that didn't detect anything so he payed to go private he had a scan that showed a tumor that hadn't spread on his pancreas.
He had a biopsy but when he went for his results he was greeted by an embarased surgeon who said they'd lost them.
This was bad enough but after this happened he had not been told that the biopsy could infact spread the cancer.
He had not been given a proper consultation this hospital has been in total chaos for a long time my grandmother got MRSA in there and when I was born my mother had to sleep on a matress in the middle of a ward
this is called playing with life and death what do you think??

I think Caveat Emptor. Knowing what you do about this hospital why you would continue to go there for care is beyond me. At the very least a complaint should be lodged with JCAHO, the Joint Committee for Accreditation of Hospital organizations.

I don't know what country you're in, but in America we have the Department of Insurance, and agency that regulates services rendered by providers. If a doctor is proven to fail a patient that risks life or limb, that doctor can loose his right to collect insurance from anyone. He will quickly go out of business.

There has to be something like that, some government body that over-sees your health plan.

Good luck, and God bless

I got rid of my own Stage 4 cancer with habeneros peppers and freshly grated garlic, and emulsified fish oil. If I'd been losing weight, I would have used evening primrose oil instead of the fish oil.

It only took two weeks. That was about 9 years ago.

Good luck.

i doubt there is really anything you can do, especially considering that pancreatic cancer is a death sentence anyway.
