Her last name is Borirchayakava or something... She's thai so her last name is pretty complicated. The last time I scheduled an appointment for her, I simply asked for Dr. Kesara (her first name). I want to be as polite as possible when I see her later on, so would it be ok to just call her Dr. Kesara or Dr. B? Mind I don't want to look like I can't pronounce her last name. I kind of want to just go with Dr. Kesara but I don't know if that's disrespectful or okay. Thanks!

Writing mysteries is my hobby (someday hopefully more than a hobby! Anyway, my intended murderer is someone who is not very strong, and the victim is someone a lot bigger and stronger. So I was thinking poison.

From the reading I have been doing it sounds like a barbiturate mixed in a drink (a beer maybe?) might be effective. I think it could cause the body to shut down fairly quickly, unlike the slower, less dramatic gradual poisonings you sometimes hear about. But would the victim be likely to taste the poison?

The murderer is in bad medical shape. It would be easy for her to have sleeping pills or seizure medication or something like that.

Any ideas on what would be effective but tasteless?

Thanks!

I've been to my psychiatrist 5 times over the last two months and all she's done is talk to me about how I'm doing and adjust my meds a little. She said she has to find the correct dosage that works for me. Is this normal practice? Should I be expecting some sort of therapy or something more from her?

Yesterday for the first time I smoked an herb called wormwood (don't do it, it's crap). Some ash fell on my porch and I tried to rub it away with my fingers. I can't tell you how many times I washed my hands after that, but today my fingers still smell like smoke/ash and are slightly stained. I even tried toothpaste, which is supposed to remover stubborn smells.

Also, my breath still smells and tastes like smoke even though I've eaten many things and brushed my teeth since then! I've smoked cigarettes before and my breath smelled normal within a few hours. Will this go away? Also, since the smell is still on my breath, I'm guessing my teeth got stained pretty bad by the smoke. Are smoke stains on your teeth permanent or are they like tea stains?

This isn't a question, just a comment from an earlier closed question. WHAT?? Since when is a needle 'still' in the i.v. cannula as portrayed in one of the answers? I shrill at the amount of people who think they know everything about the medical profession. The second answer was just as laughable. I don't know about you, but I wouldn't ask the nurse to take a perfectly viable i.v. out (one that you ALREADY took the pain to get) just to be more mobile. Lets face it, you aren't going to be doing cartwheels while recieving your dose of meds/fluids, right? It is OK to bend your elbow, there isn't a needle in your arm, rather it is a flexible tube so you CAN bend it. The blood in the i.v. will eventually be flushed back, dpending on the rate of your infusion. Thanks, have a nice day.

The Dr. gave us Lindane shampoo. It works on the bugs but not the nits (eggs). I won't use any more poison on my kids. It scares me. I need something to kill and remove the nits. Can I mix the vinegar and tea tree oil together? Do you leave it on overnight? What works best to get rid of these nits? I have picked and pulled. Please help!

Hi
Due to a car accident, our child is on an all liquid diet. We could use ideas, other than what the doc gave us. We have learned how to freeze some things, like vegetable juice and then he drinks it through a straw, or eats it in small frozen pieces, small enough to get through his mouthwires. Jaw is wired shut. In the hospital, he had nutrition through feeding tubes. Please give ideas for a balanced diet! Also, we are having trouble getting enough calories into him. I'm scared. He has to do this for 4 weeks! The docs say he won't starve. I'm not so sure!

I am wondering if I have to maintain 30 minutes of cardio to get maximum results or if 4 miles is 4 miles. (Obviously running 2 miles doesn't take 30 minutes) My goal is to lose weight and running seems to be the best way. Any info on the matter will be greatly appreciated.

Can you tell me if you use another drug for anxiety or panic along with Lexapro?

I was prescribed Lexapro about 2 weeks ago, and I still find I need to use Xanax at least once a day, because I feel panicky still. I am far less depressed, I use to cry daily, now I don't cry, and I am not anxious all day everyday like I was, but, I still get a panic attack once or twice a day. It is more mild than it use to be, but my doctor seems to think I shoudn't need the Xanax anymore.

I have heard that Lexapro can take up to 6 weeks to fully work, and I have also heard many people say they are still on something for panic along with the Lexapro.

I don't want my doctor to think I am a drug addict, because I am not, but I am not comfortable with only having the Lexapro. I am down to 4 Xanax, and he isn't going to give me more. That is why I am wondering if it is "normal" to be on something else with the Lex.

Thanks to all who answer!

DON'T ANSWER IF ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY IS NASTY COMMENTS.
Hi my daughter is 3 years old we have a family history of autism and bipolar and ADHD. she is not showing any signs of the bipolar or ADHD but having problems socially. I don't mean the normal problems that a 3 year old has. She refuses to interact with other children at nursery where she has gone for the past year. She only likes adult company and hates to have anything change in her routine. by this I mean if we go through a different door in the nursery this upsets her and she will get very upset . all I am asking is if there is any other disorders except aspergers that are like this. please don't answer with nasty comments and even more so if you don't have a clue what its like as a parent to have children with special needs. I already have one child with autism and another with bipolar and ADHD.
