My friend has just called me and is distressed as she was told she possibly has sleep apnoea and must stop driving immediately and report it to the DVLA. Is this correct? My mother has severe sleep apnoea (to the point where she suffered a cardiac arrest), but she was never told she had to stop driving.

Thanks in anticipation of your answers

worried so i told a friend of mine and she said she had one too but it was normal. Now i have more than one and it hurts when i go to the restroom but besides that i dont really feel them, the first bump that i noticed turned red but it kinda got hard like if it was a cut that got healed. Have any of yall had this happen to ya? I have had sexual intercourse with my bf and i am going to get checked but i would like to know if u have had a similar thing happen to u?

why do they give me a weird look? These are the regular people I meet at the gym.

I don't have any friends, so I drink about 2 nights per week at home. I can't socialize well, so I get a drunk.

I don't want to tell them I have no friends, because I don't wanna make them feel guilty.

Why do they give me a weird look? What's wrong with drinking alone?

What's the first thing you do when you wake up from sleep?

When I wake up, I usually stay in bed after that too because of lazyness of getting up and getting ready.

I just switched from the patch to the pill. The doctor never told me anything about waiting seven days for it to kick in. So last night i had sex not thinking anything about. So this mornig I read that you have to wait seven days. The thing is , is that i started the pill when i would have started a new month of the patch. What should I do? Should I take plan b or will i be fine? If i do take plan b how do i start taking the pills again? I'm confused..help.

I have a Bunion. I am going to see a podiatrist but have been told that if surgery is needed they will only remove it and not break the bone, which is needed to correct the foot problem. Is this true?

I was just wondering if anyone had ever had experience with taking seasonal allergy medications (like claritin) while taking birth control. I know that some medications make the birth control inneffective, and I was just wondering if this was one of them.

And for those of you who are rolling your eyes telling me to go to my doctor, I'm planning on it, but my schedule is extremely full for the next few weeks and I'm just wondering if anyone knows.

"The fact of the matter is that there is no such thing as a "chemical imbalance" diagnosed by psychiatrists; this was a market-place concept invented in 60's put forth at a Congressional hearing in 1970 and ever since, the stuff of a "big lie"…"chemical imbalances" for which to prescribe and sell "chemical balancers" …pills. What's more the FDA is a full partner in this. They know all drugs as foreign compounds are poisons who's benefits are to be carefully weighed against the risks of the disease to be treated. They at the FDA know there are no diseases/physical risk in the psychiatry risk vs. benefit analysis and yet, along with the psychopharm cartel they push the fraudulent notion of psychiatric "disease"/"chemical imbalance."

Erectile dysfunction, that is. My husband is 49 years old, and was diagnosed w/ type 2 diabetes about ten years ago. He was prescribed medication (two kinds), but stopped taking them after about a week. He does nothing to control his diabetes. Doesn't even check his blood sugar. Eats cake, cookies, candy -- any sweets he wants. Like everyday. He has had high b.p. in the past, yet didn't take RX for that either. Within the past year, he has had ED. Well...it seems he doesn't have a problem with taking Viagra, or Cialis (sp?). He wasn't prescribed this RX, but rather has a friend who works at a Dr.'s office, who gives him samples which pharmaceutical reps bring in. My question is this:

Is the ED indicative that his body is breaking down, or deteriorating in other ways? I've been worried for the past ten years that he is going to drop dead. Can someone with uncontrolled diabetes possibly live to a ripe old age??? He becomes real defensive when bring up the subject.

I have been seeing a Chiropractor off and on for several years. I am very unhappy with the way their office works, and the treatment I have recieved. I have an exagerated S curve in my spine, one of my hips sits about a centimeter higher than the other, and the space between my discs are closing. (I am nineteen and apparently have the spine of a 40 year old.) One of my chiropractors said that it could have something to do with the medication I take for my thyroid, and suggested that I try an herbal treatment, but the thyroid problem is way too severe and I just can't do that. I was wondering if I should consult an osteopath about other treatments for my spine, or maybe just find another chiropractor?
