I just switched from the patch to the pill. The doctor never told me anything about waiting seven days for it to kick in. So last night i had sex not thinking anything about. So this mornig I read that you have to wait seven days. The thing is , is that i started the pill when i would have started a new month of the patch. What should I do? Should I take plan b or will i be fine? If i do take plan b how do i start taking the pills again? I'm confused..help.

Call your Dr and tell the nurse what happened the office should be able to decide what your risk of pregnancy would be. Always use a backup method the first month after you switch BC just to be safe.
