I recently visited the doctor and he wanted to take my blood pressure but it was so low that he couldn't finda reading. so he wanted to feel my pulse.he searched my wrist,neck,arms,even my fingers for a pulse for very long,but couldn't find it.at the end he just laughed and said that it doesn't matter at least im still alive.

I can't figure it out, but I get violently ill when I eat real, authentic Mexican food. I can eat almost any generic Mexican food, ie. Taco Bell, Chipotle, and others, but if I go to an authentic Mexican restaurant I will be sick in less than an hour. I can't figure out what it is that I'm allergic to. Any ideas what ingredient might trigger such a strong reaction?

I didn't get my first period until I was fifteen. When I did...it was super heavy. It didn't come againt until a good six months later and it was extremely heavy again. I finally went to a doctor and my hormone levels seemed okay. He prescribed progesterone and I took that once a month for a few years. My period finally seemed to come with about a month and a half long cycles. I went on birth control for two years when I got married. I just went off in December and am hoping to conceive. I didn't get my period, went back to the doctor he gave me progesterone and took more blood tests.

Testerone was a normal high....LH was higher since I hadn't ovulated. My doctor thinks it could be PCOS due to the LH/FSH ratio.

I'm 5'6", 119 lbs, and have no other symptoms of PCOS. Thyroid is good!

He wants me to try Medformin....

Will this work to regulate cycles? Does this sound like PCOS? Or just my body trying to kick into a cycle after being on the pill? Any info. would be helpful=)

I have never had allergic reactions to anything before. I am in my mid 30s and have been getting breakouts on my face and pretty much all over, especially my arms. They come and go and itch just slightly, but not too bad. The ones on my face and even around my hairline and neck stay a little longer. I want to start process of elimination for allergies first, because I do not have any medical insurance right now to afford a bunch of testing. My question is, can laundry det. make you even break out on your face? I have been using the same kind for a little over a year now and that is about when this all started. I never even thought of that, because I have never been allergic to anything before.

My son had stitches a week ago. I was just wondering if it would be ok to put an antiseptic salve on them, and if it would help them heal better/faster. I know you can also use Neosporin or anything with Bacitracin, but salve has always healed things up faster for me! Thanks!

i have either a keloid or a hypertonic(i think thats how its spelled) scar after surgery. Im using silicone sheets at night and rubbing mederma on in that day...i also heard massaging with cocoa butter also helps..when i do this, i can feel the scar soften for a little bit but it looks like the insicion line becomes more red and more apparent...does massaging do more harm than good and what elso can i use on the scar to get rid of it before summer

I have had two spinal epidurals. The pain was from a fall on my back and I had to do something after four months of useless "therapy" I am normally a very athletic person, strong and of normal weight, a professional dancer most of my adult life.
My question is this: I do not like chemicals in my body. What are the immediate and lasting effedcts of the steroids themselves?

I have a long history of stomach problems which became worse recently to the point I couldn't function, I had to ask my Dr for a referral to a specialist there are 4 Dr's in that group and 2 have been treating other family members for a while, so I requested one of the two and one specifically I did not want because of poor bedside manner any way it took 1 week to get the appointment and low and behold it was the Dr I had specifically asked not to have, my Dr's nurse cancelled the appointment and it's been another week and I still don't have a appointment my nurse said the specialist office was very upset and wanted to know why I didn't want this Dr. my nurse also said I've not got an appointment because she felt I'm being punished for cancelling the first one. Back to my primary Dr I shouldn't be having to ask for test or referrals he should be suggesting that to me right? Thank God I have ER for back up if I get any worse.

Yesterday i was playing tennis while i was playing i felt kinda awkward down there...but i didn't want to check so i kept playing. When i got home i went to the bathroom and notice that the foreskin or w\e of my...penls rolled back. I was scare and left it alone thinking it would return to normal after a while. Couple of hrs past I checked, it was still like b4, i tried to rolled it back to normal it worked. I was relieved. Next morning it happened again, but didn't roll back much. Why does this happen? Is it normal?
