My dad has had two brain tumors removed and presently has 3 small ones growing right now. He discovered the tumors because he was having numerous headaches, confusion, and loss of bits and pieces of memory. Eventually, the doctors discovered the tumor.

After the removal of the tumor, Dad went pretty much back to normal. (He's in his early 50's). Then a couple years later they discovered another one, so he had that one removed as well.

Now they've discovered 3 more small ones coming up. (Dad's tumors are benign, BUT dangerous none-the-less because they are the kind that keep coming back and try to take over the brain even WITHOUT cancer cells.)

The neurologist is going to keep an eye one these tumors for awhile to see how fast they grow.

This all sound pretty icky and I don't mean to be a "downer". My dad's tumors have not really slowed him down much. His doctors have put him on a couple of different medications that have helped with the anxiety. Once Dad had the tumor surgically removed, the headaches stopped, the forgetfullness improved GREATLY and he rarely gets confused....just on occasion, since the tumor destroyed a small part of his brain that he will never get back. But someone that has never met my dad would never know that anything has ever happened to him.

Prayer was very important to my family. It's all we had for awhile. Brain tumors are SCARY! And doctors can make you feel like you're on your death bed when you go in to have one removed. But my dad has done it twice and both times he came home within a week.

He was here just yesterday playing in my living room floor with my youngest son.

God Bless You.

when i had my brain tumour i had really painful continual head aches for about 2 weeks. At first the doctor diagnosed me as having a random fever but after two weeks i became delerious and was sent to hospital. After that it was correctly diagnosed by a mri scan and operated on immediatly as i it was squishing my medula gradually killing me. be prepared for a lot of mri scans and stinky radiotherapy as they need to keep your head still and so case it in wax and continual check ups at a hosapital with a specialist.

It can mess with motor functions for sure, reading, visual, everything, pressure may press against certain parts of the brain and mess with things.

And basically things you just said.
