i have either a keloid or a hypertonic(i think thats how its spelled) scar after surgery. Im using silicone sheets at night and rubbing mederma on in that day...i also heard massaging with cocoa butter also helps..when i do this, i can feel the scar soften for a little bit but it looks like the insicion line becomes more red and more apparent...does massaging do more harm than good and what elso can i use on the scar to get rid of it before summer

Rub it with vitamin E oil, available at the drug store. Helps in reducing scars. Comes in a little bottle. Rub it directly on the scar.
