My 4 year old daughter was diagnosed with Mono 2 weeks ago, I started with a sore throat 2 days ago, can I get Mono even if I had my tonsils removed?

i wanna lose alot of weight by this summer...like alot...more then 50 pounds im sick of being fat and i just want it to end, can i do that? is it even possible in like..4 months if im willing to do whatever i have to do...ive tried anorexia, didnt work...and i dont have to much money to join a gym but im going to start the special k diet, so what exercizes are the best?...any of tips would be loved..thank u soo soo much

Ok, I got the computer in my room December and ever since then I find myself addicted to it. I want to stop being adicted and go out and do stuff, I just moved to a new place and I dont know many kids at school and well im shy and I knew the other kids since I was 5 (15 now) I need some advice on making new friends and I need some advice on things to do instead of sitting on the computer all the time becuz its ruining me... much apprecaited.. xxoo

Like I mentioned in the title, my boyfriend doesn't drink any water, ever. He probably goes on for months without water drinking a drop of water. He drinks soda(not diet), cranberry juice, orange juice and iced tea(snapple, arizona) regularly. He doesn't believe it will have any adverse effects on his health, because he sees drinking other liquids of common branded orange/cranberry juice and sodas as meeting the daily requirements of drinking water. With the kind of dependence our body has on water, I just fear he will end up with a LOT of health problems later on that stem from this issue.

Because he IS drinking other liquids, I was just wondering how seriously I should try to get him to drink water specifically? Is drinking other liquids besides water really enough like he thinks? If not, what are some things likely to go wrong in the longterm? Lastly, since he hates drinking water, what is the minimum amount of water he must drink, in addition to the other liquids?

im 12 years old, gonna be 13 in 2 days and i just got over anorexia. im average [as in weight] 5ft and 110lbs. im still not happy with myself tho and im afraid im going to back to anorexia again and i really dont want to. my goal is to be 85lbs. when i look in the mirror i see myself as fat and i dont want to have to see that anymore. i work out every night, i do sit ups, squats, lunges, and some other stuff. i dont really do cardio but i walk alot every day between school and home. i never use weights. i dont wanna just be healthy. i want to be thin.

my maternal grandmother had liver cancer
my paternal grandmother had bone cancer

I just finished my period about 2 days ago, i thought it was gone, so me and my bf had sex. I noticed after that there was some blood when i went to take a shower. Now i have some discharge, but it doesn't come out in my underwear, just when i pee i see it in the toitlet, and it's almost black looking. What is this?

I had a deep filling and the dentist stated afterwards that he didnt think it was deep enought to result in a root canal. However, the day after i was fine and the day after that the pain started. OUCH! I callled my dentist and he stated that it was a deep filling and i need to either have a root canal or extraction. I dont want either..i just want it to get better, but i dont want the pain. Is it normal to have the extreme pain come and go. How long should i wait to make my decision and what should i do? PLease help.

My wife tried Miracle Burn to lose weight. After a couple weeks she quit cause she had turned into a complete crab! Mean and irritable towards everyone. So I tried it. I lost 12 pounds in 2 weeks taking only 1 pill a day. I decided to take 2 pills like your spose to. The next morning I woke up at 3 am and had one of the scariest moments of my life. For 2 hours I couldn't think properly. I was awake and fully aware, but could not think straight, it was super uncomfortable and scary. I tried to lay back down and relax but it was impossible, my mind was going 100mph in random thought patterns. Finally after about 2 hours it eased up. I stopped the Miracle Burn immediately. Ever since then I have been suffering from panic disorder. I also have tinnitis and everything scares me and worries me. I fear I may lose my mind. Finally my question...do people really lose their mind or are they born with mental illness? Inherited? Besides alsheimers, can it happen? I hate living with this fear.

in the past few weeks I have had two scary episodes: the first time my left arm went sorta numb and I couldn't really move it for a few minutes, and there was a dull pain throughout my arm and upper shoulder. Last week I had definite pain in my left collarbone/shoulder area and down my left arm. I am, 22, weigh 110 and exercise regularly and am healthy and conscious of what I eat (kind of a health nut) what could this be? The second episode was really scary to me because I could not do anything but try to get through the pain-I couldn't even move. Afterwards, my neck on the left side and down through my collarbone area was really sore (still kind of is). should I be worried?

my question is why after giving plasma did i pass out and go into what they said was a seizure, which i have never experienced before in my life. I completely blacked out and saw flashes of old memories. What could have caused this extreme bad reaction?
