in the past few weeks I have had two scary episodes: the first time my left arm went sorta numb and I couldn't really move it for a few minutes, and there was a dull pain throughout my arm and upper shoulder. Last week I had definite pain in my left collarbone/shoulder area and down my left arm. I am, 22, weigh 110 and exercise regularly and am healthy and conscious of what I eat (kind of a health nut) what could this be? The second episode was really scary to me because I could not do anything but try to get through the pain-I couldn't even move. Afterwards, my neck on the left side and down through my collarbone area was really sore (still kind of is). should I be worried?

Go to a dr. You should have gone after the first episode. It is not normal to have one sided numbness or paralysis. Make an appointment and go.

Could be anything from a pinced nerve, torn ligament or even an anxiety attack-did you have shortness of breath too? It is probably not heart problems, but if the symptoms get worse see your Dr so he/she can check you out.
