Can attendant visit a patient in the "post op. room" in a hospital?

Or strictly no attendants are allowed in.

By attendant I mean a family member or a friend.

Usually, hospital staff can be allowing in to to PACU. The major thing is they don't allow Family members to visit. I think will only depend on the Staff and policies.
