is it better to tan without sunscreen or use 10 spf? how do you get a better tan?

my period started a few days ago (a little off schedule but it's always been that way). but the thing is... it was sort of brownish colored at first, but then it went back to the normal blood red. but now... it's BLACK. this isn't usual for me. is this normal? or is something more going on?

I used to do triathalons and still workout couple times a week so I am famialiar with fitness, but what about the new kids fitness programs springng up...are they good for kids tht young? He plays baseball (made an all star team) and is constantly on the go but he is on the low end of strength nd speed so I thought that may help him...sound like a good idea?

I don't know whether it is said 'shaving' or waxing, yet anyway I would like to know if permanent hair removal by using a laser is in any way harmful or increases the risks of any disease? I too would like to know why in the 2 places I asked for prices, one was extremely more expensive than the other... Is there a better way? A safer way?

Bi-Polar???
Okay,Ive always had this problem....One minute I will be fine,someone will say something I dont agrree with and I snap.....thats not what iam worried about though....Iam mostly worried about that I will be fine on minute,loving life,the next I start wondering why iam here and what life is....and put myself down and ask myself why I did what I did......

Also noticed that Iam reallt motivated one minute and the next I got like no motivation ,cant ever make my mind up with stuff.......

I Dont really wanna goto a profesional because if iam diagnosed as bi polar I wont be able to join the military like I plan...by the way,I just turned 20



And no I dont really mean minute by minute like people thought in my last post...sometimes I will go from one mood to the other in a couple days,sometimes itll last a mnths..

I am 15 years old, and I have had stomach disturbances in the past couple of days. I have discomfort in the abdomen, it's like gas moving around during the day, although this usually occurs only for a little while during the day. I have no other symptoms of it though; no vomiting, no weight loss, no nausea, and no appetite loss. I feel notmal besides this. I am wondering, though, if this is a stomach virus, as there is a virus that a lot of people around me had.

I am trying to lose the weight i put on recently, but i have found that i cannot stop myself from eating. even after eating a well balanced healthy meal, my mind just goes crazy trying to find something else to eat. i literally cannot stop thinking about eating until i satisfy that compulsion. i have stopped stocking my kitchen with any unhealthy foods, so i either end up eating waaay to much normal 'healthy' food, or i end up driving to a fast food place and ordering way too much food, or going to the grocery store and buying a box of donuts, just to devour the whole thing in one sitting. If i don't do this, i cannot concentrate or focus on anything until i have. somehow willpower isn't the answer here. what can i do?

A friend has come from a broken home and was neglected by her single mum in a bad neighbourhood. 4 years ago she was attacked by her boyfriend who helped her as she was thrown out and had to stay in a bedsit in the innercity. She fell pregnant,had an abortion and took a break down. She has went from boyfriend to boyfriend and last month she fell pregnant and was happy ,joyful to keep it since now she has a good job and nice man. Last week she was taken into hospital,docs said the baby died in her and basically told her that was it,no sympathy at all. She cries all day and asks me why,when she cared for her child so much did it pass away. She cant get over her abortion when she was 15 and i think this new pregnancy was her way of fixing it, what can i do for her?

i am very depressed and very suicidal and i cant stop feeling this way....i have been to mental health many times before, been to many councelors, turned to God, and tried talking to ppl when i feel down....i dont know what to do anymore....i dont want to make ne thing of my life b/c i want to die so bad, but if there was something that i could do to feel happy and be able to stop cutting and being so depressed it would be great....please someone help me please :(
