My 3yr old son has gotten headlice from his 3 older brother and sisters who come and visit every other weekend. When I try and pick through his head, he just cries and asks why am I hurting him. I've tried to explain to him why it has to happen, but he doesn't understand and still thinks I'm just trying to hurt him.

How can I treat his headlice without him thinking I'm intentionally trying to hurt him?

Endometriosis? Every period is so painful that i require heavy prescription narcotics. Sometimes i even have to take off of work for it! I have lower abdominal pain intermitantly all month, back aches during my period along with migraines or bad headaches. All of this accompanied by heavy bleeding! As fun as this is i'd like to know if this is a normal period or i need to see a doctor. Ive had cysts rupture on my ovaries before and severe UTI's. Any ideas?

I have allergies. Since the beginning of spring, I have been taking one allergies tablet everyday. I dont want to take it, but as long as I want to live thru the day and be able not to sneeze I have to take it...I just want to know whether I should stop taking it 'cause I am afraid that I will be come resistant to the med I've been using.

please help,every other sentence or so my fiance says"and stuff like that"it makes me cring....ive made him aware of it and hoped he would stop...to no avail.hes 45 years old and has tourret syndrome.a very mild case...mostly blinking attacks....any tips to help him stop would be appriaciated.thanks..

i got chest pain, shortness of breath, sharp pain in my shoulder, stomach, back, fast heart beat. i know that they are all symthoms of heart attack. but the thing is they are not very serious. i mean... i'm not like grasping my heart and yelling for the pain like in the movie... but all the symthoms are there. i'm really worried about it and i wanted to go to emergency room. so my questions is, if i go to emergency room, although i'm not in as much pain as people in the movie, will they take care of me or they will ask me to leave and seek a doctor.

I am going to have a tubal ligation. I haven't had tedoc consult yey. But I am wondering. Bear in mind I know absolutely nothing other than I want a safe form of birth control (I am 35 and have 3 children and that time of my life is over) Where will my eggs be? My bother in Laws liver is shutting down, can he get a transplant. We dont know why it is shutting down the Dr's arent saying much as they only found out yesterday, if his liver shuts down does that mean that he will die?? i really hope it doesnt because his in I.C.U and there is heaps of us that arent alound to go and see him because where not his mum or dad. please answer. thanks

I've noticed ppl ask specific advice for medical issues when they haven't consulted a doctor. I find this peculiar. I'm not talking about what to do for symptoms. Sometimes, ppl seem to want a diagnosis. Would you take this advice knowing that ppl may not be educated enough to answer? Why?
