I have allergies. Since the beginning of spring, I have been taking one allergies tablet everyday. I dont want to take it, but as long as I want to live thru the day and be able not to sneeze I have to take it...I just want to know whether I should stop taking it 'cause I am afraid that I will be come resistant to the med I've been using.

I'm assuming you just have spring allergies and would take it only in spring? If that's the case you shouldn't become resistant to it for a short time until the season passes. Actually if you don't take the medication, the side effects can be very bothersome, nosebleeds, excess congestion which can turn into infections, and allergies can even turn into asthma further down the road so as long as you are getting good relief out of it, take it as long as there are no side effects you didn't mention.

You don't become resistant to most medications so it is safe to keep taking it. You may however, want to ask you doctor abut allergy shots. Its a once a month treatment. No pills.

you must take your allergy meds...otherwise you can end up sicker than just a runny nose and itchy eyes...there is a possibility that you will NEVER become resistant to the meds you're on now, but most people do and then they go on to something else...be thankful you can take your meds and they work...some people aren't so lucky...
