Endometriosis? Every period is so painful that i require heavy prescription narcotics. Sometimes i even have to take off of work for it! I have lower abdominal pain intermitantly all month, back aches during my period along with migraines or bad headaches. All of this accompanied by heavy bleeding! As fun as this is i'd like to know if this is a normal period or i need to see a doctor. Ive had cysts rupture on my ovaries before and severe UTI's. Any ideas?

Go to the Gyno. I started feeling like someone was stepping on my ovaries when I went to the gyno to check it out. To help stop the pain caused from Endo. my Gyno put me on a shot called Lupron for about 6 months. It throws you into menopause. She thought it would help dry it up. It was a living hell. I was going through mad mood swings and hot flashes at the age of 23. It was HELL!!! I suggest not going that way.

Then I decided to have laproscopic surgery to clean up the Endo. and that helped a little. After that I went on the pill and that helps with some of the pain. Email me if you need an open ear to vent and knows what you are going through...

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck.
Headaches can be caused by minor problems
like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more serious reasons
like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can
have harmful side effects, so it is better to
modify your lifestyle. More information available at

Forgot the critics my pal. Writing is a individual factor and it's your emotions and feelings you're expressing. I love your paintings when you consider that it's individual. I do not quite care approximately best constitution. Perfection is dull and over rated besides. It's like a tune performed too flawlessly. It is bloodless and impersonal. Give me somewhat sloppiness and emotion any day.

No its not normal, A lady Friend of mine has to get a shot every 3 months as she had the same symptoms you describe. Her gynecologist has quite a few women with those symptoms and they are on meds.

Make sure that your drinking plenty of water, meaning at least half of your weight in ounces. Also, working out especially the week before your period helps.

You should be seeing your OBGYN. He'll figure out what the problem is. The longer you wait, the more you'll have to put up with this. Best of luck to you.
