Start by cutting out junk foods, fast foods, sodas, candies and other sweets. Eat healthy meals and don't forget about fruits and veggies!! Never skip meals and never starve yourself.
Drink a lot of water each day! Water really is important while losing weight.
And, get active! Go for a walk, run, dance around your house, play a sport, swim--anything! Just get moving!!

Keep in mind that a healthy weight loss is 1-2 pounds per week.
Good luck!☺

Get a membership at a gym, or start running, which is cheaper. Also start eating healthier foods, like whole grains, vegetables, fruits, lean meats, etc. You need 3500 calories to cut from your diet to lose a pound. Don't go bulimic or anorexic because they will hurt you in the long run. Also, don't go with any of these fad diets such as Atkins or South Beach, because once you're off them, you gain the weight back and then some. The best idea is definately going to a gym to help build some muscle, and also doing some cardio activities to burn fat.

60 lbs is A LOT to loose in two months. And can't be done a healthy way.
Talk to your doctor and ask what will help. They usually suggest that exercise is the best thing. It's true.
Go walking or even running at least 45 mins / day and you'll burn quiet a bit. It will help. Also watch what you eat. Cut out or at least cut down the amount of breads and sugars. Drinking water is more healthy then drinking sodas or most juices. Sugar always creates more fat.

60 pounds in 2 months is not advisable. You will end up having crash metabolism and might increase the risk of anabolic heart disease due to the strain your metabolim puts on your body.

However here's what you can do.
review your BMI. (Lots of online BMI calculator out there) your BMI needs to be around 21-23 for an optimum body weight.

arrange a plan for life. Like what food you need to avoid and pland exercises. I recommend 2 to 1 proportion of carbs and lean protein.

drink lots of water about 8, 16 Oz glass a day. It will help you feel fuller thus reducing your food cravings.

stay active. try to sweat like once a day by playing basketball, frisbee or a light jog in the park with friends.

good luck

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

It's more likely and healthy to lose about 10 to 15 lbs in your specified time-frame. I'd recommend eating 3 times a day, with snacks in between each meal. Don't miss breakfast. I'd also do about 60 minutes of cardio every other day. For your mealplan, Body-for-Life is a great way to lose weight. You can replace some of your meets with turkey, i.e. turkey hotdogs, turkey hamburger, turkey bacon. Eat less bread and starches. In fact, get whole wheat bread in place of the white bread. Good snacks are fruit and lowfat cheese (for protein). Another good tasty snack is the 100 calorie packs you can get. If you get the urge to eat fastfood, get a salad or grilled chicken sandwhich. In general, eat more frequently, exercise more, and keep healthier foods around your house.

Well...I lost about 40 lbs. my junior year of highschool. What I did was cut my meals in half. Use a small plate...no junk food, I drank a slimfast every morning and when you eat junk food eat very little. But now I'm going into my 3rd year of college and I gained it all back my freshman year of college. Which was because I ate late at night and didn't watch my weight. But im on the role again. Try that. Good luck!!

60 pounds will take about 20-30 WEEKS to loose "safely." The diets you hear about where you can loose 20 pounds in a week are dangerous to the point of being deadly. The body-wide systemic damage they can do is terrifying.
