I know this is a little late but im getting braces in a couplel of hours!! What should i be woried about and how bad does it hurt??? Please help and give me any extra advice u can please hurry!! thnxz srry for the late notice

my question is how many inches do you have to grow before you notice you look thinner? iam 5'6" right now(i was 5'4"before) and my doctor said i will grow another 4inches (i had a bone age test) . so if i grow the 4 inches will i look thinner if i still continue to maintain my weight of 113lbs?

i wear contact lenses when i am at work or play, but about two hours to bed i change to my glasses, and am immediately hit by a bout of nausea that lasts till i fall asleep. Would someone please tell me why? am short sighted

I am having a minor panic attack brought on by general anxiety and one of two phobias that haunt me (on for the winter, and one for summer)...

I can only think of my fear it it becoming consuming. Any helpful ideas? I just tried to call a counsler but he/she didn't seem interested in helping.

My friend recently had a D & C procedure and I don't know much about it. She has asked me some questions concerning whether what she is going through is normal or not. She got it (the procedure) this past Friday. She didn't bleed for 2 days and then started bleeding really bad and hurting really bad where she had to stay on pain medication. She's even had to miss work because of the pain. She is calling her doctor today but I was hoping to hear what other people have gone through so I can ease her mind a little bit. She also said that she has been feeling nausiated the past couple of days. So for people that have had this procedure, can you tell me what happened to you afterwards, I guess like the side effects? Thanks!

her red blood cells are few and she fears having some sort of cancer. When her menstrual period comes she says she looses a lot of blood which brings her down and she fells weak and drowzy or sleepy and tired most of the time. She went to the doctor and this does not happen so often any more but she still feels weak some days so the posibility of being loosing a lot of blood in the menstrual period is not a reason for that. She needs to know. She thinks if she has more red blood cells she might get sort of cured. Is there any way in which one could increse red blood cells in the body??? would this be a reason? and if this happens would this be safe?

I have a 15 month old daughter, she is the joy of my life and so is her father, but I am depressed. I feel tired and sometimes really hateful, I feel like I have lost who I am, and I don't have time to make myself feel better. My daughter is over a year old, so, according to the books it can't be postpartum depression....
If I want help, how do I get it? How does any mom get it. I cant put my daughter in daycare to see a therapist, I cant take meds because she is still breastfed. What do I do? I dont want to hurt her emotionally or myself physically, and I dont want to lose everything i have worked so hard for.

pain was also going down right side of buttocks and thigh, its not there now, it comes and goes, but the pain in my back is getting worse, and is worse as the day goes on.

About a month ago I got hit in the chin with a basket ball, hard. It poped the right side of my jaw out of place. It came right back,, but of course it hurt. Before this, sometimes my jaw would grind agianst the bone when I chewed. If I chew gum for more than about ten minutes, my jaw starts to grind and pop, so I've stoped chewing gum. My doctor said that the basket ball to the face probably made it worse and that it'd heal on it's own in about a week or two, but hear I am opening and closing my mouth and very gently at that, and still hearing a little grinding sound.
