check if your mom has any pads......you should've seen some in a class about your period at school. Put them on your underwear and wear it.....wipe up the blood and go to the bathroom....maybe take a shower. It's ok! call your mom she will be excited (that really annoyed me with my mom) and if you get cramps in your lower adomend take some alive or midol.

I am sure someone in your house has pads somewhere... usually in a bathroom cupboard... if you don't know how to use them the packaging should explain it. If you want you can take a shower and get cleaned up and start with a clean pair of underwear and a pad. If need be you can use bunched up toilet paper (probably quite a bit) until you can talk to a family member about getting you pads (you will need to tell them you need them right away). Don't be embarrassed this is normal and every girl goes through it. If you have any questions maybe you could ask your guardian or an older sibling. If you get some stomach cramps you can take some Tylenol or Advil.

I started when i was 12. Luckily i had a friend over so we called her mom. Look through your moms bathroom area. There most likely be something. I used pads for awhile just to get use to the period process light-heavy flow how many days.... i would call someone your mom, a sister, close friend, grandma, dad if you have to they kinda get wierded (i lived w/my dad only when i began)
If you have bad cramp pain lay on a tile floor on back it really helped me relieve pain, due to the coldness. You can take ibeprofen- some aspirins thin out your blood so i dont usually take that for the pain.

Look for some maxi pads, they should be in the bathroom or in your mom's bedroom. Otherwise use some toilet paper anything to soak up the blood. If you can then call your mom or someone else you trust for advice. If you have cramps then take some pain reliever, preferrably Tylenol or Pamprin. Some medicines like aspiin or Advil tend to increase blood flow. Good luck and welcome to womanhood! :-)

Go to the washroom and look for some pads. You can learn to use tampons later, but since you just got it there isn't a lot of time to learn since noone is home.
Once you get a pad, stick it on your underwear and change it every 4 - 8 hours.

Just calm down. You may want to call your mom to find out where she keeps the pads. Take a tylenol and lay down. Oh, by the way Congratulations, you are now a woman!

Don't stress, look around for a kotex or maxi pad. Just relax, and tell your mom when she gets home. It's a natural part of life.

awww you poor thing. it's traumatic, I know. find some pads to put in your panties and if you are cramping, take something...tylenol or aspirin. lie on your back and raise your feet to help reduce the flow. if you got blood on your clothes, take them off and soak them in cold water with a little detergent. dish soap is fine. welcome to womanhood!

Do you have a pad at home? if yes, put it in your (clean) underware. If not, in the worst case use layers of toilet tissue in your underware until you get some pads.
