I would say advil. If you take three it is equivelent to a prescription anti inflamatory. But, dont do it without checking with your doctor.

I take a cocktail of acetephetomin and ibprophin. One helps with pain while the other is an anti inflamatory! Works wonders for me!

Excedrin. They have a bunch of different kinds like some for, migraines, tension headache, and just plain Extra strength. This is my favorite pain reliever, it works well.

Along with your choice of medication, you can use a muscle rub like icy hoy, myoflex, etc. Using a heating pad helps too. DON'T use a muscle rub with a heating pad. It can cause your skin to blister.

Take Ibuprofen. Sleep a lot and use a comfortable pillow, sleep on your back.

I have degenerative arthritis in my neck and I use Aleve.
