Degenerative disks run in my family, but I'm not sure if that's what's wrong with me. I have pain the size of a tennis ball to the right of my spine, right below the waist line. It's most aggrevated if I stand too long or when I lay on my back. The main problem, besides the pain, is when I lay on my back, I can move my right leg, but I can't lift my left leg. I literally can't. My leg will kind of shake, but it won't lift. If I slide it outward, I don't feel anything, but I can hear a popping like sound. Then, when I try to sit up, I can't unless my husband helps me, or i roll my body to either side and sit up that way. If anyone, has any idea of what could be wrong, I would greatly appreciate it! I've gone to 1 doctor and he just shrugged it off saying I wasn't 16 anymore. I feel I shouldn't be experiencing anything of this sort just yet, I'm only (just) 26 years of age! Any kind of help, is greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance!

Hi all, thank you for reading my question. My dad was just diagonsed with prostate cancer last monday. The funny thing about this is that his PSA levels started at 7.6, when they told him he might have cancer, he changed his entire diet around, every two weeks he had to go for blood work. Everytime his PSA levels kept going down. The last PSA level he had was 4.2 and the doctor said, everything seem to be ok, but if he wanted to be 100% sure to get the biopsy done.

Well he did get the biopsy, last monday the doctor told us they found very little cancer. My dad decided to get his prostate removed, we are going to talk to the doctor again on monday to give him the decision.

My question here is, if anybody knows why his PSA levels would go down instead of up? and does this mean his cancer maybe hasn't spread? He has done a psa level for the past 2 or 3 years know, and this is teh first time cancer was diagnosed. He is 56 but very heatly otherwise. Anybody out there with experienc

I always think that I'm not real and my whole life is a dream. I have breakdowns and I'm tired of it. I've been to doctors taken medicine for bipolar disorder and depression but nothing helps. I am fresh out of ideas and no one's ever heard of what I'm going through. Can anyone relate or tell me what's wrong?

I need to know because I am pretty close to getting cancer and bleeding to death. I also need to know what foods not to eat so I won't die. What should i avoid doing so I can stop bleeding and having awful pains. Basically I want to know what I should do about it and what foods to eat so I will get rid of it and what foods to avoid. And what kinds of physical activities should I avoid and what stuff is good for me.

I have a physical check-up in about 1 week and I wanted to know if they tested for drugs when they take your urine sample.

I'm getting a physical check-up, just those annual ones where you go to the doc's, they check your height, ears, nose, heartbeat, etc. I wanted to know if they check for drugs when they ask for a urine sample, this isn't for a job or anything.

Thanks.

Hi everyone,

My name is Matt; i am a Welfare Worker in Melbourne Australia. And i am currently working on a book about impact of HIV/AIDS around the world, what's being done to reduce the spread of HIV/AIDS and some discussion about celebrities/famous people that have died from this disease. and how is has impacted us.

Any information would be good, so if you know of a celebrity that has died from HIV/AIDS, can u please pass the name onto me. And any websites or resources you know of,

Please, no time wasters.
And thanx to everyone for ur help.

Cheers,
Matt

I'm 13, and a girl in the 7th grade. I just realized that I'm a "cutter" in a sort of way. I don't really cut myself, because I don't like sharp things. I really just like to bruise myself, and see my self bleed. (Yes, I know i'm really weird, and probably have mental issues.)

I don't want to tell anyone, because they'll think i'm crazy, and will tell my mom. If my mom finds out, she'll think I have even bigger problems because she is paranoid about me being scytzo becuase we have a family history of it.

How can I stop hurting myself?
