It makes me feel that everything is going to be ok. It also makes me happy and very positive about everything in life. It's been almost three months since I've started going to the gym.

Endorphins. The brain responds to chemical stimulation from endorphins, which give you that "runner's high".

Exercise also relieves stress, creates goals and accomplishments, and encourages a healthy body image, which may cause you to feel happier overall.

During exercise, you may get an adrenaline rush, which makes you feel like you can take on the world. After, your blood pressure will drop, promoting relaxation.

Exercise provides many health benefits, both physical and mental. More people need to realize this!

There is a term called the runners high. It is basically the good feeling you get after a productive work out or run. The reason for that feeling is physical and mental. The physical part of it is the endorphins being released into your body during high activity work. The mental aspect of it is the feeling of accomplishment after a hard work out and knowing your doing something great for your image and body. On a somewhat different note, tanning beds have also been shown to be a good mood elevator.
