Hi,

I am looking for some genuine advice and tips on cutting down on the old booze. I have been drinking quite heavily for 5 straight years now. At the mo I have been drinking almost every night of the week which A: costly and B: not good for my health. I have been drinking almost 2 bottles of red wine a night. I have made the decision to only drink moderately at the weekends as it gets in the way of uni etc... But it is proving to be quite difficult. Does anyone have any tips for me to control that urge I have when I get home at night to open a bottle to have 1 glass which always turns into 7. Many tx.

I went for my yearly exam a few weeks ago and the doctor decided that I may have PCOS because I've been having irregular periods lately. I am overweight, and have the problems with facial hair. They did the bloodwork and only my insulin and testosterone levels were elevated. I had my daughter in 2004 and had no trouble conceiving her, and before her my periods were totally regular. I just feel as though I don't fit the profile for having PCOS. Has anyone else been diagnosed with it but had a similar history as mine?

ok this is really weird and freaky but please be serious.
the right side of my crotch on the inside is really big. it doesn't hurt or anything but its still big and its freaking me out. what do you think is wrong with it? do i have some kind of disease? please help me. im really scared!!!! thanks soooooooooooooooooooo much!!!!!!!!!!

Hi I didnt really know where to put this or if this was really the right place for this but I couldn't think of where else to go. I'm a 16 yr old girl currently studying for AS levels. I seem to constantly feel depressed - i'm not suffering from depression or anything that serious i just can't be happy.I just feel really unwanted, like no one really wants me around or that I can contribute to people. I get exam results on thursday and my parents say if they are not A's then I have to give up my jobs - one of the only times I actually feel happy is at one work and I'd hate to have to give it up. My mum always has a go at me for not being happy and the longer this goes on the more I can feel my slef confidence falling. If anyone has any ideas what I can do I'd really appreciate it. Mandy xxx

My husbands is a sufferer of chronic pain in many forms! About 1 1/2 years ago his doctor tested his blood, of course it came back positive with Lyme titer. She has done no further treatment. I brought it up and she says she has to do a spinal tap which made my hubby nervous. so now she is not pushing the issue. I am sick of it...he has unexplained back pain, irregular heartbeat, shooting stabbing pains in arms and legs, fractioned sleep, night sweating...and so much more. What do I have to do to get him treated for the Lyme disease and so many of the associated illnesses?? I can't stand to see him in pain....he is 31 and feels so crappy all of the time.

I am 16 years old and recently went on the pill, since ive been on it my breasts have been sore and heavy the doctor said they might grow because of the pill. i found a hardness inside my left breast but a tiny bit in my right and i am not sure what this could be, is it because they are growing? or something to do with milk from the pill? just thought i would ask if anyone had any suggestions....

My left ear is very clogged, and has been for about 3-4 days now. I'm not sure if it's from a bad head cold that I have or if a little water got into it. I've tried draining out the water (if thats what it is) with alcohol, but it doesnt seem to help. It doesn't really hurt, just more or less a pain in the neck. Any suggestions???

I was depressed for many years, dealing with tons of issues in my life, now I feel for the first time in my life, I am happy, but at times I still ask myself and people ask me what is wrong. I stare into space always thinking all the time, my mind races like crazy, I am happy laughing and enojoying myself, then a short time after that I am feeling weird and anxious. I have been on meds for a long period of my life, due to depression, anxiety, panic attacks, nervous breakdowns, and have now been off meds for a year, is it time to go back on the meds? Am I ever NOT going to be depressed?
