its not good to start heavy workouts at your age but their are some things you can do like cardio as long as you use your arms more than normal you will start to build muscle

Coming from someone around your age, I would suggest using dumbells or other small weights to start out. There are lots of ways to use these weights effectively, and you can use them while doing squats, sit-ups, punches, and many others. I started using dumbells for about a week (maybe more) and I began to gradually increase the weight. I noticed a significant difference in my triceps (these were the muscles I was focusing on), and it's very important NOT to start with heavy weights. I would like to remind you that there is no way to get muscle FAST; it's a gradual process.

Workout like every one else, although it is not fast. I know you are in a hurry to look like a man, but you may not fill out till you are in your late teens. Going through puberty has to happen first & that is not an overnight thing, takes years. Talk to your parents, this kind of thing is somewhat hereditary, if your father or men on your mothers side filled out late you may too. But 12 is not late.
It would not hurt you a bit to join the wresting team at school or the football team, any sports activity will put you in shape & make you stronger.
For now you can buy a cheap set of dumbells & while sitting & watching tv or something you can do curls with your arms.

Well nothing good happens fast! You can start doing some things like having a pull-up bar in your room, some hand weights, etc....do more active exercising....even at a gym....but if you look at any guys who build up their muscles, it doesn't happen overnite.

And guys just naturally gain in their physical builds as they get older...between your age and 19 or 20...so some just takes time, but it will happen.

Whatever you do, stay away from any medications or drugs that say they will work. They are dangerous to your health.
Eat healthy and start working out a little at a time.

first of all you can start by joining in at school in the P.E, class. Your best bet is to eat right ..try to stay away from foods that are full of sugar. Eat well balanced meals with complex carbs, high protein and only natural sugars. Honestly at 12 you shouldn't try to worry so much....but working out will help you build muscle. You don't need a gym....use your own weight as resistance and you will eventually gain muscle. Repetition (repeated moves) are going to be key in successful mass building. Because you are so young you really need to eat alot as you work out...VERY IMPORTANT!!

i always say if u dont know much about getting buff and your young and need advice, do yourself a favour and spk to either a trainer, fitness consultant as they the best know what will be best for you. Go into a gym or even a health food store and maybe ask professionals to give you a safe and well known supplement such as vitamins or powders, nothing wrong with that. go easy with weights at first and move up at a comfy rate. No such thing as "fast" muscle. You have to work out just like everyone else. But I wouldn't do too much because of your age. You haven't hit puberty yet and trying to add a lot of muscle will effect your changing body and fusing growth plates. Just take it easy.

Do push ups, run, play games, anything that gets you up and moving. You are too young to lift weights. You should probably wait until you are 14 for that. But until then, do push ups every day, increase every day, or every week, whatever you feel like.
