you try to sort out the areas of joy and tension.Prepare the level of tension to be created by attempting such unpleasant thing. If it is for creation of joy enjoy in the end donot avoid tension ,a calculation exercise for the mind for a brief time.No one creates tension for you,it is your mind that drives you to misunderstand and complicates the situation thereby tension is created.

Well dear-tension is something you can not aviod initially as its a habit and it take few days and some hard work as it takes to change any habit.
Firstly ask yourself if you really want to change your habit? May be you only want it superficially.
Secondly what you can do is two aspects-- mental and physical.
For physical do Yoga , Accupressure or any kind of exercise. Have a good controlled diet, Nothing more/nothing less. No junk food.
Mental part-- meditation, reading good books, Join a volunteer organisation on the net like Nabuur etc and work for people who need help.
thirdly.. practice this for 21 days and rule of 21 days will help you change a habit. This rule says if you follow some habit for 21 days that becomes your true habit

yes tension is part of our life , so we can't avoid it in any way, rather find the best possible way to get deal with it. As life is full of challenges , we need to face the challenge, we need to struggle, as for one day or two day or u can stay for some months & u can avoid the situation, but after all one day u need to face that, then why not today. be bold & have self confidence so that u can handel it in ur own way, if u are right or ur decision is right & ur decision is not harmful to anybody's life then stay with ur decision. try to get the point from where the tension is created And think if u can do anything, then try ur best possible way to solve it, otherwise if u found that u can't do anything for the present situation or tension then stop thinking & keep quite and try to make urself busy in someway so that ur mind doesnot get find time to think unnecessarily.

One can avoid tension only through meditation after learning the same from an experienced spiritual teacher.

if you change your point of view about your surroundings, your tension will automatically be reduced.

take everything positive, you develop a mentality that every happenings are not because of you and people around you, it is entirely happening according to god's wish.

also you do yoga everyday and perform pranayama.

this will greatly reduce tension.

there is no way to Avoid tension,however the way you 'handle tension' is the key to avoiding neative feelings such as stomach aches, headaches, nervousness, sleep troubles ect. self talk that is the conversation you carry on in your head over your "tension"can determiine how well you cope with everyday levals of tension. I personally use prayer sometimes, because God and his word calm me. right now i also use celestial seasonings tea such as tension tamer and slepy time tea to help me to remain calm and the ritual of a warm cup of tea can sometimes start the process for reflection, prayer and calmness. remember tension is sometimes defined as stress and in reality even good things cause strees{called eustress} i said all this ,to say you are normal and alive and that in & of itself is stressfull .hope this helps you.

Stuff at work used to make me crazy. I changed my job and made a huge lifestyle change. My health is more important than any paycheck ever was. My proirities changed big time. I'm so happy now. I'm doing what I love every day. I drive a regular car, live in a regular house, and eat healthy, regular food, in my regular garden. Nothing fancy. Life has never ever been sweeter.

Stay happy and keep your eyes on your goal...don't let anything distract you..be it others' jealous nature or anything else....Keep achieving what you want you will always stay away from tension. Have a positive attitude towards life and don't let the devil inside you let win. Always make the positive side and optimism win.

this question is a little to broad, but physically you can take tension medication or acupuncture, or you can just isolate your self, because theirs tension every where you just have to deal with it.
