It depends a lot by what you mean by "really big". Is the area red? swollen/raised? Is the skin in that area bumpy, smooth? Is there any pain or irritation (itching)? And more importantly how long has it been that way and has it changed/spread since you first noticed it?
Either way any time there is a significant change in your body in a short amount of time it is a good idea to contact your doctor, or at least speak with a nurse at your doctor's office.

I wonder if you have had any close interactions lately. If so maybe you are having a reaction to something, lube or latex. Is it red maybe it is a less common side effect to having a yeast infection? These are just ideas. If you are really worried I would have someone look at it. You could go to a walk in clinic for peace of mind knowing that you will never have to see that doctor again if you are imbarressed. Good luck and Good health to you. Just so you know I dont think it is an STD.

This could possibly be an absess (or a type of cyst). This usually looks like a spider bite, sometimes they hurt, sometimes they don't. This is usually caused by bacteria (often spread from razors when shaving). If this is what you have, you will have to go to a doctor, and they can drain it. Or you can try a warm compress and it may end up drain itself. But then you will need antibitoics anyways so I would just go to a doctor and get it checked out.

I noticed lumps there too, turns out they were my lymph nodes which clean out your systems if I remember correctly. Just for your peace of mind, I would go to a doctor. I wouldn't worry about going to a special gynocologist until you have seen your regular doctor first. If they are your lymph notes, it could be perfectly normal, or if your lymph nodes were swollen, you could have a small infection somewhere around there.

I think you should definitely get it checked quickly because the more you delay it the worse it will get. Visit your doctor and try to think what might of caused this to happen , okay and don't over react it might just be a boil or something

no need to be scared. Please make an appointment with the gynecologist just to be sure that there is not an infection present. does it hurt(burn) when you go to the bathroom? is there an odor to it? are there any bumps? does it look swollen? the gynecologist will do a wet mount and some other lab tests to see what's going on and she/he will determine from there and give feedback and give you the necessary treatment, if you need the meds.

Has it always been that way or is it something new that you just noticed? Is this on the outside or inside of your body?
