I understand love is unconditional, but then again, hygiene is kind of important too. I love my "male friend" to more than ANYTHING, but even at age 22, his hygiene leaves a bit to be desired. I've approached him privately about missing a few little hairs right below his nose when he shaves and he was VERY embarrassed. He actually denied it, but the little buggers were almost an inch long, sticking straight out above his lip. I've also noticed that his rear end sweats like nothing I've ever seen or smelled. He leaves a sweat mark on the chair and then his BUTT will emit this horrible odor. I haven't had the courage to tell him about THAT. He is a VERY big guy- tall and thick... BIG sweat? He's rather geeky too, so he's not exactly thinking he has to impress girls and is actually confused as to why I'm even attracted to him.... Oh, and yes. Crusty, orange thingys in his ear. yuck. Is there a polite way I can help him with these little icky things? Without breaking his poor sweat heart?

I have read that Norplant, the surgical implant contraceptive has side effects such as weightgain, dizziness, headaches, and decreased bone density.

1. Does it also cause female pattern baldness?

2. How much weight will a woman gain?

3. Will it keep increasing? And by how much?

4. And also does the increase reach a plateau after a certain
amount?

5. Can anything be done to curb the weight gain while on this contraceptive?

6. What and how much can be done to curb the loss in bone density? Is taking a glass of Anlene milk a day sufficient?

7. Will you still have your period at this time?

Hello! For a month now I've had a UTI. After going to the doctors, he gave me a week of amoxicilin to take, I thought that it went away, but it is definitely back again. Im going to the doctors to get another urine test and I know that I will get more antibiotics. Im always on antibiotics....I'm getting nervous that my body is beginning to resist them and im only 22. Are there other ways to treat and cure a UTI w/o antibiotics and how can you tell if your body is becoming resistant? Also,I had a UTI a few years back, took med. and it went away....please help!

My wife and I are both allergic to shellfish. Should we be concerned that our kids would be allergic as well? I don't want to put the kids through the stress of allergy testing if it isn't absolutely necessary. Kids + lots of little needles = really unhappy kids.

My son is 18 months old and on several occasions develops a rash on his chest, back and stomach. The rash is small raised pimply type with some small white in the center of each.

He does not seem to be itching at all. The rash come and gone now for almost 8 months. Our peediatrician tried numerous things (anti microbal wash, and even antibiotics thinking it was viral).

After the last bout we finally got a referral to a dermatologist and they attributed it to a possibly allergic reaction to penicilian since he just finished a dose of Augmentin from an inner ear infection.

The dermatologist prescribed a steriod cream (cannot remember the exact name) The rash disappeared but I am unsure if the cream did it because like I said before the condition has come and gone on its own over some time now.

Today we had a follow up visit to the dermatologist after 2 weeks and of course the rash re-appeared 1 day prior to the visit. It completely cleared up and then came back.

The dermatologist seems to think it is from ingesting something but not necessarily a food allergy. He told us to continue to cream and to try Benadryl

Has anyone had anything similiar or have any ideas?

i am 5'4 weight 270 pounds. i really never tried hard to lost the weight because somehow i always seemed to get the most beautiful women in my life. i think i carry the weight better than others. i know it is not healthy and i really want to get fit. currently i can reach 7ft without jumping and 8ft 6 inches when jumping. considering my weight and height is that a good leap? i wonder if i lose like 70 pounds, becasue i dont want to be too skinny, if i will be able to make that 8ft 6 a 10ft 6 inches leap so i can dunk on a basketball rim. has anyone lost a lot of weight and was able to jump a lot higher afterwards? also i am 22yrs old and i wonder about sagging skin after losing the weight, is there a way to avoid that.
