There is a lot of confusion about how much water you should drink. Some scientists way back in the thirties did some research which showed the human body loses up to 2.5 litres of water daily, which has been interpreted as meaning we should drink 2 litres of water a day to replace it. Somehow nobody seems to have taken on board that those same scientists said most of this 2.5 litres could be got from food. Recent research says that tea, fruit juice etc. is ok as source.
Drinking plenty of water is good for you as the body needs it to fuel various chemical processes, and unlike tea, coffee, fizzy drinks does not contain other things that can be unhealthy. It will not help you burn off fat, nor does it contain calories. Water helps if you are feeling stressed, but I don't know why this is.
Boiled water is a good thing to have if you are in a country where the water supply is not safe - otherwise I can't think of any advantage to boiling water.

1) water is a molecule that is essential for life as we know it. It's chemical properties are required for the daily functioning of our cells, ie transport of nutrients both inorganic and organic within cells w/o destroying the organic compounds of the cell. In short water is required for the cells in your body to function properly.
2) The average male is approximately 60% water by weight. This proportion changes depending upon sex, %body fat and age, but just for simplicity let's say 60%. Therefore a 70kg young adult male will be made of approx 42L of water.
3) On avg a relatively inactive person will lose approx 2.3L of fluid a day via urine/sweat/feces/lungs/transdermal. A very active individual can lose up to 6L or more if they sweat a lot. Also certain medications can promote water excretion.
4) Boiling water may kill various pathogens which might cause an infection, otherwise there is probably no other benefit. Various inorganic minerals and salts which may or may not be in your water should not be affected by boiling and cooling your water.
5) Cold water may help burn a few extra calories simply because the body must expend energy to bring cold water up to body temperature, however the number of calories burned is very minimal.
6) water does not contain calories.
7) drinking water is very important if you are exercising. By the time you are thirsty you are already dehydrated, try to drink plenty of fluid so you do not become thirsty.
8) Also remember that too much of a good thing can also be harmful. Drinking excess amounts of water can lead to dangerous electrolyte imbalances, in severe cases can lead to death. One should also remember to replace the electrolytes lost during exercise (Na, K, Cl), that are not normally contained in plain water.

Water contains no calories. It is an essential nutrient, meaning your body needs it and cannot make it, so you have to get it from an outside source (food or drink). Water is what helps all cells funtion properly. You lose 10-12 cups of water daily through sweat, urine, feces, and saliva. Therefore, it must be replaced to have everything working properly. You get a lot of water through fruits and veggies, so eat those and drink an additional 6-8 glasses each day.

the human body is largely made up of water in fact it makes up the majority of what we are. every time you move or think your brain is sending an electrical impulse to a muscle or down a nerve. this is only possible because of the electrolyte created by a delicate balance of water and minerals within us, if we upset this balance our bodies stop working as they should.
Boiled water is not really as good for you as boiling removes some of the vital minerals we need to stay healthy however it does remove germs and bacteria.
The temperature of the water is not really important, some people prefer water at room temperature!
I guess it only helps you burn fat because it helps your body work properly but unless it has something in it it has very little calorific value

Well considering your body contains 75% water it is needed for the proper function of the electrical system of the body. The more water the better the conduction of the electrical impulses moving across the synapse.

Hiya, the reason why water is so good for you is because water flushes out unwanted toxins from the body, which builds up throughout the day by having a normal diet. Over a period of time if toxins are not flushed out, you become more prone to adominal infections as the toxins in your system get more concentrated. Due to this dyhydration state you will become more tired as the toxins become more poisonous to your system.
Never fear, the body is amazing it gets water from all types of foods, so even if you don't drink water, water is in practically everything you eat.
On the other hand, you can drink too much water, as flushing out too many toxins can also harm your body, as some toxins are good for you.
The human body is remarkable, it is programmed to tell you it's needs. Excesses of all foods are bad for you. It is all about getting a balance.

At the correct level it prevents dehydration (loss of water)
The correct amount therefore is important, neither too much or too little - your thirst should tell you.
Boiled water is pretty well free of germs, hence its benefits.
Cold water probably acts as a coolant, when the body is overheating.
Hope this helps

Its been tried and tested that water does not improve skin texture and so is a myth however if you are dehydrated then please do drink as much water as you can.
The body is in the need of minerals and this kind of water is great,
water melon is great for slimmers and good source of vitamin c and herbal tea honey and lemon is fantastic for antioxidents.
Obviously when we drink water then the gastric juices are present and maybe this is why slimmers think that it is good to drink.
good luck

water is what makes up over 70 percent of your whole body. even 1 percent dehydration can result in concentration difficulties, tiredness and poor performance. Drinking more water can maintain kidney function, prevent utis, aid digestion and prevent headaches.(ps hangover headache is just dehydration!). It is thought that many people leave it till they are thirsty to drink, when you should nt wait to feel dry. Also many people mistake feeling thirsty for hunger and over eat. Water is best drunk at room temperature so it doesnt shock your stomach and kidneys. warm water is good in the morning to cleanse your body and wake up your digestive systems, try it with a squeeze of lemon.
