I dont want to sound like an idiot but if anyone out theres been in a situation like this will you answer me please. right well im 19 and am at the point right now where a dont see myself being able to cope with much more. Im applying for any job i can but i have this thing called "pectus excavatum" (a dent in the chest) and the surgery takes like 3 years for it and even then nobody knows how it will look. This is hanging over my head whatever i do and even if and when i get reffered to the hospital, it could take forever on the nhs. Even after this i might have to get another operation, i see no point in going any further with anything. Im out at the weekends with my friends like everyone else but deep down am on the edge, im so close to taking a handfull of pills its not even funny. How can i start a new job or do anything like this. What do i do b4 i do something i probably shouldnt ? (could we keep it to serious answers please).

I was diagnosed with diverticulosis about a month ago, and the increased fiber causes gas. I recently read that, of all the fiber supplements, Citrucel is best for reducing gas. Also, chewing food more thoroughly helps, and I've tried eating more canned fruits and vegetables, instead of fresh, because they are easier to digest and chew thoroughly.

I still would like to find something that would help heal the pouches in my colon, so as to reverse some of the damage.

I found information about a product called Serovera, which contains aloe vera, and it claims to help heal the colon.

Anybody in the medical profession have an opinion about that?

Anybody who has the disease ever tried that?

I am 126 lbs. and I want to lose atleast 15lbs. You might think I am crazy but my body frame is tiny(I am only 14 and I am a shorty;5"0) but I have lots of fat. So I want to keep some fat because if I lose to much I will then officially look like a toothpick! So please just help me!

Yeah yeah, I get the whole "so depressed you can't handle it anymore." kind of thing. But seriously, some of the reason's people commit suicide is just so stupid. I know someone who talked about doing it, I got so ticked off at her I ignored her and sent her cold looks for weeks.

I mean, after all, there are people that have it so much worse then others that commit suicide. Is it wrong of me to think so lowly of these people when they are so self-centered they have to go off themselves before thinking that there might actually be others upset over them? I know people who have really had it rough, druggy parents, in and out of rehab, had to restort to prostitution and now is about to be put back in custody of her druggy parents (she's 16). And she is still able to smile and do better. When there's little miss MaryAnne whose boyfriend broke up with her. Does she look to her friends? No. Her family? Screw them. She's threw with life, so she kills herself.

Is it wrong to think this way?

For some reason i have been doing this and i do not know why? I've been getting to bed at 10 oclock and i have to wake up at 6 but for some reason i'm waking up at random times such as 430 and then falling back to sleep, and when i do fall back to sleep i have crazy dreams and then wake up really tired, does anyone know what i'm talking about and how to fix this?

I have metal plates and screws in my right elbow to fix my arm back together from a MVA. My last surgery was 2 months ago where bone had to be taken from my hip and inplanted in my elbow. For the past 3 weeks my arm has been falling asleep during the night and the pain is unbearable. I am worried there is something wrong. I don't have carpal tunnel. I have heard that when your younger your arm and legs hurt during the night because they are growing. Could this be true? Or could it be nerve damage?

The more narcotics I take the more my family freaks and thinks I'm going to die. I know better but I don't know how to ease their fears. I've been to 2 pain clinics both say keep doing what I'm doing and won't offer me anything more. They say a pain pump won't work for me. I need relief. Does anyone know of a pain clinic in Minn that works with the patient and not against? Also what is your diagnosis and dosages of narcotics and what are they? I know more than one ??????? thanks to all who answered my other questions. I have tried all that and know all that. I've been in pain since birth so I've tried and tried things. I do live in a small town but have an excellent doctor. I do take marinol and have tried the ssri's, methadone morphine duragesic codones and contins and prednisone which gave me osteoporosis. anyway I'm winded sorry

Why do I feel pain in my calf muscles after I run a little? I didn't feel anything in football or wrestling when I had to run a he** of a lot more...I can even see veins on the right side of my left leg now!! I've never seen them before..I think. Anyways, why does it hurt so much now? Even if I rest for a little and then run like 100 feet I pretty much HAVE to stop...Should I ice it or something?

My sister had a realy bad fall 7 months ago and had a brain injury, she now shows signs of haveing had a stroke but the hospital said she didn't have a stroke, what i am asking is does this condition have a name if yes what is it, please help she's got no one but me to help her.

Alright, im on a diet, have been for the past 2 weeks.
And i recently today just got sick, sore throat,
head aches, and i just ache. So my mother bought
me medicine Therma flu and coughdrops.
Is this ok to take if im on a diet. I really do not want
to mess up my diet. So if they are not ok, i will
for sure not take them, and just let my cold run its course.

just got my very first period on tuesday..im 15 ...its only been about 3 days and it seems like its going away...is that normal? also pads or tampons..i heard tampons are better, but what do you think? and i dont have any cramps...nothing like that..will i be lucky and not have any of that stuff for the rest of my periods..?

My son is now 12. Last year he underwent chemo and he's ok now, but he is afraid to use deodorant as they all have that ingredient in it which is linked to causing cancer. He's at puberty now and needs to use something.

Can anyone recommend a deodorant available in Canada preferrably that doesn't have that ingredient? I believe it's aluminum or something of that nature.

I'm currently prescribed Xanax. I went to my doctor and was diagnosed with a kidney infection. I was prescribed Percocet 5/325 and Ultram 50 mg. The problem is, I was given Diladin (sp?) at the time and now I can't remember exactly what his instructions were. The bottle just says to take one every 4 hours for the Percocets and one every 6 hours for the Ultram. His office is closed now so I can't call him. Has anyone had these medicines together? Is it safe to take a Xanax before bedtime, like I'm normally suppose to do? I took the percocet about 3 1/2 hours ago. And when exactly should I start with the Ultram? I need help tonight please.
