my son has allergies that are not always a problem but he takes Zyrtec everyday to keep them in check. If you have recurring allergies check with your doc to make sure what he has prescribed can be taken continuously.

Use them when you are having allergies. I don't think a continuous dose will hurt you per se.

No you shouldn't. It can really screw up your immune system. Use it only when necessary and only if it's really bad. You're better off going to get allergy shots and hopefully they will desensitize you to whatever you're most seriously allergic too.

Have any kind of drug continuously is bad.
