I'm currently prescribed Xanax. I went to my doctor and was diagnosed with a kidney infection. I was prescribed Percocet 5/325 and Ultram 50 mg. The problem is, I was given Diladin (sp?) at the time and now I can't remember exactly what his instructions were. The bottle just says to take one every 4 hours for the Percocets and one every 6 hours for the Ultram. His office is closed now so I can't call him. Has anyone had these medicines together? Is it safe to take a Xanax before bedtime, like I'm normally suppose to do? I took the percocet about 3 1/2 hours ago. And when exactly should I start with the Ultram? I need help tonight please.

takin xanax with 1 percocet will make you sleepy, but you'll survive it. the ultram is a non narcotic pain reliever. your best bet is to take the ultram for mild pain, and the percocet before bed and for severe pain. don't take the dilaudid in addition to the xanax and percocet. (within the same 6 hour span).
