Is there anything that I could take to help this besides meds? I have some meds for it, but it doesn't seem to helping any. I have heard that whiskey, hot-salty water helps a little, is this true?

please tell me your honest opinion as to whether or not Abilify really has a side effect of gaining weight or not. Because I'm only taking 2.5 miligrams of this stuff 2 times a day and it's caused me to eat more than I normally do. Please no harsh answers.

every night for the last 3 weeks my arm hurts so bad and i cant sleep. I takes aleve to tried to relieve the pain but it dont go away. i dont think its carpal tunnel because my wrist dont hurt its just my upper arm. i just started a new job and i really cant take off from work yet and my insurance havent kick in yet, so iam not able to go to the doctor right now. tell me what is wrong with my arm. Help!

Okay, my grandmother just got diagnosed with Stage 3a lung cancer and I am looking for leading oncologists in california. I would especially like those who specialize in lung cancer if possible.

Does anyone have any tips or websites on where I should begin my search.

We are searching ONLY IN CALIFORNIA, but anywhere throughout California is fine.

Any experience with any oncologists, good or not, would be appreciated as well.... =)

I have been taking augmentin for five days for a sinus infection. Since yesterday, I have had a strange taste in my mouth. It sounds weird, but it almost tastes like hairspray (ladies, you know what I'm talking about - it tastes like if you get a bit of hairspray in your mouth when doing your hair in the morning). The taste is not constant, but comes and goes. It also does not go away if I am eating, drinking, or chewing gum. I have had sinus infections before, and have been on this medicine in the past. I am wondering if it's from the antibiotic?

I have been getting a sharp pain in my lower left back (right above my left butt cheek) area when I skate for the last couple of months and I am getting tired of it. What is it? How can I get rid of it? Do I need to see a doctor? I have been taking ibuprofen or Tylenol (2 500mg) before I skate and the pain still comes. I went onto WebMD.com and they said its low back pain. They said that exercise will get rid of it, but I cant exercise with a sharp pain in my back. It hurts really bad.

If someone (like a doctor maybe) can help it would be greatly appreciated.

I was on Effexor Xr for about 6mths but then got into a financial pickle and had to come off it (without dr supervision or advice) after about a month i noticed i lost about 5kg, people close to me reckon it was the anti-depressant that made me put on the weight and then when i weened off it the weight came off to. I am going to see my phychiatriast on Thursday. I reckon she will want to put me back on medication, but I am really not looking forward to the neausious feeling/headache for days or putting the weight back on and having to worry about taking meds. How can i explain that I feel I am coping WITHOUT the medication ok. I reckon she will tell me its only a matter of time before I start going backwards.

i recently saw my little brother coming out of the bathroom looking quite distressed and when i asked him what was wrong he told me it was painful to go to the toilet he said that he knew it was an internal hemaroid coz he had looked up on it and that there was sometimes blood he wont go to the doctors because it was embarassing and he knew it would be painful to have it removed im really worried about him, can it cause serious damage? will it get worse? are there any alternative answers please help my poor little brother is so embarassed and what causes it?

My left side is swollen, but doesn't hurt. My right side though, is twice as big as the left, AND it hurts like hell. They gave me a painkiller with codon (condine?) in it which makes me really out of it, but it makes me sick to my stomach. The combonation of both brings me to my knees in pain. I've been icing since I got it done and the swelling hasn't gotten better. I went to school today and everyone told me to go home, I eventually did from the pain. Should I go to school tomorrow? Any other ideas or tips?

I have chest pains in my left side and on my collar bone sometimes very painful, my lower stomach also hurts a lot it sometimes keeps me awake I also sometimes get pain in my shoulder blade, they tell me its Acid Reflux but I dont think it is. All my tests ECG, blood etc is fine I also suffer from haemophila but I dont think that has anything to do with it.

Im having a scan on my stomach but they dont know what it is anyone care to have a go?

I playing high school football and I workout about 5 times a week. (heavy weight/cardio) mostly heavy weight. I weigh 175 pounds, Im tryin to get up to 200 pounds. How much protein do I need? Ive been working out but Im not gaining anything. Im really tryin to gain more muscle which would result in weight gain, right?
