A girl in her mid to upper 20's was leg pressing over 600lbs at the gym I go too. I've always heard that women pound for pound have stronger legs then men. Is this true? Her legs are extremely muscular.

my friend is very poor, and she lives with her crackhead family in a rundown duplex while they smoke 3 packs of cigarettes a day, which she is forced to breath in through second hand smoke. she used to have medium blonde hair, but recently it started growing out dark brown, and you can still see the line in her hair where it changed color. As i learned it, cancer is caused by mutation of cells, and i was wondering maybe the cells for her hair color were mutated, and that it's a sign of cancer?

I turned 13 in January. I am 5 ft and 1/2 in tall. And weigh about 95 lbs. Am I overweight? I don't think so but a lot of my friends weight less and I can't keep feeling self-conscious about my body. (weight, etc.)

It seems that now (5 years later) his PSI levels are way up. Does anyone know of someone who has experienced this? If so, where did the cancer spread if any and what treatment did they use? Any articles, personal experience or related information would be very helpful. Thanks!

I went to the ER because my colitis was flaring up. The Dr. ordered Abdominal X-Rays. During the X-rays I was not given any shielding to protect my groin. The last picture taken the camera was positioned right infront of my groin while I was lying on my back.

Why would they take a picture of my groin area? Is that part of the abdominal scan or was it unecessary? Also would these X-rays make me infertile?

I had hernia surgery two and a half weeks ago. Everything looks like it's going as it should, but my skin and underlying areas are extremely sensitive in a fairly wide area below the scar (a sort of square-shaped area about 3 inches by 3 inches). At first it was numb. Now it's irritated and stings. It feels like my skin is raw/chafing, but it's not.

My surgeon said this was normal because nerves are affected by the surgery. Has anyone had this pain weeks after a hernia surgery? Did it go away? Is this a sign of the nerves coming back after the period of numbness?

Thanks for any info. I would like to be able to run again instead of waddling.

if i eat only fruits, veggies, a little meat, a bit of dairy & only a few carbs..
exercise at least an hour a day..
drink 2-3 bottles of water a day
&& only eat one (not so healthy) snack during the day

will i lose weight by May.. .&& about how much will i lose?
i'm 110 pounds at 5'2 but i want to get healthy.

At work I always feel tired and I yawn a lot. I get enough sleep, around 7-8 hours and I don't work super hard so I'm not getting tired out. I do not work at a desk and I am always moving around doing stuff and lifting stuff. I'm not very active outside of work though.

My cousin has a problem that concerns me. She is extremely messy. She tries really hard to clean her apartment and organize things, but about a day or 2 later, it's already a disaster. I visited her at work and noticed her desk was complete chaos. I know she sees a psychiatrist, but I'm not sure what her diagnosis is. Could this inability to organize and clean her own space be a symptom of or associated with a disease?

I am a 22 yr old male, and I am looking to join the Air Force here in Australia. I know the minimum physical requirements for entry, and meet them.

However, I feel very unfit and would like some help with some simple gym free excercises to help me with the following.
*Loose 10 Kg
*Drop my BMI by 3 points
*Develop strength in my arms, chest and back
*Develop Stamina

I'm having a problem with kidney stones. They keep coming back. How do I get rid of them? I've gone to the hospital several times with the pain but I hate to keep doing that. What is the best thing over the counter to take? I'm not even sure what causes them I just know the pain is worse than the labor of having my children.
